Been an organ donor since I was 16. It's the simplest way you can help others. If I or someone I love needed a kidney, heart, liver or lungs, I'd be praying every day for a donor. It'd be hypocritical for me to not put my own body out there to help others if the situation arose.

+1 my mum received a double lung transplant from a kind organ donor. It's not a nice thing to think about our end but we need a plan in place. It's a very personal decision to decide whether or not to donate your organs but it's important to have the conversation with friends and family so they understand your wishes.

If I can I will. The donor was anonymous. But there is a possibility I can learn the ID after a year, depending on the family's wishes.
