Semi's full name is Jesusemilore Talodabijesu Ojeleye.

And just like that, 'Antetokounmpo' is a piece of cake.

Yeh nah , don't want Semi. Seems like a low IQ undersized PF with ball stopping tendencies.

I'm still holding onto Jonah and the whale.

What is your IQ meter ? Semi has great FT% which is all about concentration and skill, really good 3P% and he is the opposite of foul prone. It is reported that he plays position defense and doesn't gamble. Where is the low IQ indication?

On the other hand reports and myself question Jonah's competition in Adriatic league. His numbers could be inflated cause he was playing against white Europeans - which is kind of same as US high school and in a league that don't have the thoughness of Spanish-Greek-Turkish league. It is like 4 times softer league.

Concerning Jonah - The Adriatic league is good competition no junk teams. For perspective Ntilikina is playing in the champions league that's like 3rd tier competition. Luwawu, Saric, Jokic, Nurkic all came from Adriatic league.

Jonah won this year's ABA League Top prospect award , have a look at the winners of last 4 years.

Dario Šarić 2014 Drafted 12th

Nikola Jokić 2015 Drafted 41st

Ante Žižić 2016 Drafted 23rd

Jonah Bolden 2017 Drafted ???

This is not a reward to be taken lightly. All previous winners are lottery prospect worthy, Jokic especially was drafted way too low.

Jonah is 6”10’ tall with 7”4’ wingspan, which is nearly identical to GIANNIS. I don’t think he has the size of the hands of Giannis, but overall the physical tool is very impressive for players with great mobility that can shoot 3s and create plays, and contain guards in the defensive end

For Semi Low IQ

1. He mainly shoots or straight line drive.

2. Often when he drives he is reckless and this will lead to TOs in the NBA.

3. He is not a crafty player, he uses his strength to bulldoze through.

4. He holds the ball when he recieves it, this in my eyes is one of the worst qualities. It stops ball movement and flow, basically **** up the team.

5. He is not aware on rim protection or defensive glass, he's kind of in his own world.

I would not even be mad if we took Bolden at 17. If he's the guy, secure him. Who cares about mock drafts?

Man, he looks impressive. Only nitpick I have is I wish he was 19 instead of 21. He'll be 22 by December.

Semi is Justin Anderson with a mid range game, right? Am I missing something? I've never seen evidence of the kind of play making that might make him really valuable. We need to aim higher with our 1sts. Perimeter guys who don't have all three skills are non-starters.

Couldn't agree more and why so many are interested in a center, especially those with a range of a dunk, is totally lost on me.

Yeah, you want your roll man to have some options other than lob. It didn't take long for teams to figure out how to jam up Giannis-Plumlee. It'd be different if Giannis could score consistently either with short pull ups or floaters. As he is, I think you want a C who at minimum can play good defense (however that looks), catch lobs, and be really good from about 10-15 feet on either baseline. He doesn't have to pull his man out far to give Giannis (and the opposite side of the floor) a lot more options.

Wrong ... Semi has the 3ball and at a high clip.

Still think if we're keeping 17, we should be looking at the youngest guys available. I've always thought younger players have more upside because more of their formative years occur against the best competition and in the best developmental environments.

F. Jackson (perimeter league and makes sense with Giannis)

Bradley (Centers have limited utility, but could have good defense, great rebounding, and a skilled offensive game with above average passing - Monroe replacement?)

Anigbogu (Centers have limited utility, but could be great defensively)

Ntilikina (Could drop)

Hartenstein (Centers have limited utility and duplicates Thon skill set)

Giles (Busted knees)

Ferguson (Busted everything)

Allen (Centers have limited utility and doesn't project to be great at anything)

Mushidi (Probably will withdraw from this draft)

Least excited I've been for a draft since we picked David Noel. Not a single guy available at 17 gives me any excitement. Trade it if you can.
