I've been on his trail too. I like him as a very deep draft pick.

He looks great in highlights. Jeremy Evans was also the leading shooting percentage guy in college basketball, right? Is he more Marion or more Evans?

More Evans.

New DX mock draft:

http://www.draftexpress.com/nba-mock-draft/2017/

Notables:
- Dennis Smith falls to 10. Damn. I like him much better than this. Maybe I'm wrong about him?
- Luke Kennard goes no. 11... WOW!
- Jazz get Bam at 24 and Lydon at 30. I love Bam, I don't particularly like Lydon.
- Jackson falls to 39, Kuzma to 43. I'd pick Jackson at 30 and Kuzma at 42 easy.
- Jonah Bolden goes 45
- Jazz pick Sumner at 42 and Bacon at 55.

I would love Sumner at 42 as long as he looks to be recovered from his knee injury. He is one talented combo guard that was extremely.explosive around the rim.

I really don't understand the love for Kennard. I get that he's a great shooter, but he doesn't have great quickness or strength to create separation from his defenders and has more of a set shot than a jump-shot that will make it hard for him to elevate over the top of defenders. He's also a massive liability on defense. I think DX is getting hit hard with recency bias as they just watched him shoot the ball extremely well in pro-day workouts. When you look at the big picture with him, I just don't see how you could take him as high as 11th.

Jackson falling to 39 and Kuzma to 43 is beyond me. I can see Kuzma to a certain extent, but Jackson has 1st round talent and upside.

To me, I don't see much difference between Sumner and Tyrone Wallace. They're similarly built and have a similar play style. And don't get me wrong, I was really pleased when we picked Wallace, but I don't think that picking another Ty Wallace at that stage of the draft is the best use of the pick. I think there's other guys in that range that I like a lot more.

Sumner prior to his knee injury was on an entirely different tier athletically. It remains unknown if he can get back to the same level athletically though.

Vezenkov said today he will enter the draft(I think he has no choice) and he hopes if someone drafts him they will let him develop in Europe for a while and follow his development there. He seems like an obvious stash prospect.

Why do the players of this years draft sound like a Key and Peele skit?

Elie Okobo is a really interesting guy. Kinda reminds me of Marcus Paige a bit. Quick guard with a solid shot. Plays hard on defense. Put up great numbers despite only being 19.5 years old.

I like Bam at #24.....and Jackson at #30, the Bolden or Hart and PJ Dozier.

It would be fun if leaf dropped to #24......shooting 46% from 3 is solid.

nbadraft.net What the Jazz need:

Utah Jazz
Needs: Gordon Hayward to stick around
Picks: 24, 30, 42, 55

They play slow, they don’t score very much, and on paper, they don’t appear like they should be a great team. Their stats aren’t pretty, but they absolutely lock teams down and get them out of their comfort zone. Because of this, they have had some serious success the past few seasons. Rudy Gobert has become one of the league’s premier big men and the team is built around this slow-it-down, defense first mentality. Even with this though, they need to be able to score points and Gordon Hayward has become that go-to offensive weapon for the team. When they need a basket, they can go to him. If he decides to leave in free agency, they must replace him with somebody that can get buckets for them or they risk taking a major step backwards. However, if they can keep him in Salt Lake City, they can continue building on their success. They have four draft picks this year, including two late round picks. While it’s unlikely they will get major day-one contributors in this draft, they may be able to find players that can come in and fit in to their defense first style. Wesley Iwundu of Kansas State would make some sense here, as would [Player Luke Kennard], or Caleb Swanigan. However, Hayward isn’t their only concern this offseason. If George Hill leaves, they’ll likely want to draft a point guard to develop. Options would include local boy Frank Jackson of Duke or PJ Dozier of South Carolina. Ultimately, it’s unlikely that people look back at this offseason for the Jazz’s draft, but instead it’ll be known as the season they either locked up Hayward or lost him to another team.

Ya, I really like him a lot too (thanks to you after bringing him to my attention some time ago). I think both of them would be great draft and stash guys in the second round.

I'm still sold on Bolden, and after thinking about it, the Jazz have had had plenty of guys who are known as partiers, including Malone and even Gobert (a man who seeks affection on the road and likes to club from what I have read). I would seriously use a first round pick on him. After reviewing vids on every stretch big in this year's draft, he is my all around favorite and I find him seriously underrated.

Ya, I mean, talent wise he's a no brainer. But I just have a hard time seeing the Jazz taking him when they've made such an effort to bring in high character guys.

Is he the dude that was supposedly lazy or am I thinking about a guard? But Gobert may partake in pussy and spirits but at the end of the day he's a hard worker and my only hope is he's wrapping his Willy wacker cause we don't need to go through what the Lakers did with Magic.

News just broke that Jonathan Jeanne has Marfans Syndrome. Career is likely over.

That's too bad, is that common in big guys?
