Parker is a big risk. He may never come back the same. I also don't think Drummond is our problem - sure he could play better but its not like we lose games because of him. I think our offense/shooting sux and the trade doesn't fix that.

Maker has more defense potential and parker could be a Prime scorer.trade leuer an reggie for picks or salary or garbage and Sign redick....after that trade morris and Harris for the.best available pg

Maker
Parker
Johnson
Redick
Xxx
I could leave with that
Boban
Henry
Fillers from trades
Bullock/filler
Smith

No because Parker can't stay on the court and you can't build around him. Drummond is the center piece of a team. We need to replace him with someone else with potential not a guy that keeps getting injured. Parker hasn't proven anything and neither has Maker. This is a horrible deal. I'd rather trade for Paul George

Maker
Jabari
Harris
KCP
RJ

How is that significantly better than what we have?

IF Jabari isn't damaged goods Milwaukee won't trade him cause they're oh so close:

Maker/Monroe/Henson
Jabari
Alphabet
Middo
Couple of Role Players

Bucks don't need to trade

We should be looking for shooters & playmakers for the perimeter...not looking at dealing Drummond.

SVG went on a radio show and defended Dre's season! Everyone claims he regressed and SVG argued that point!

I Really like andre....but he is no franchise player...not in the sense he thinks he is.with big bens head he would be the greatest defensive Anchor since b.russell...he would be a cross between dikembe and big ben....and he would be a defensive Franchise changer...but he is only a douple douple machine....of course a good one...but not a franchise player...sorry i never thought that i would say this..but until we dont get a pf and mentor like draymond i am for a andre trade

A pretty bad one if that's the case.

No.
Drummond has more value than Parker, as a big, as a former All-NBA player and All Star, as a player with less of an injury history...and Parker is 22 to Andre's 23.
It's up to Thon, then, he was taken 10th overall in a weaker draft, but has he outperformed his draft position? Where would he go in this draft?

Drummond>Parker by more of a margin than Maker is>12th pick (if he is at all).

Even if you take the pick out, which gets it closer value-wise, where does that leave us?
We add Jabari to the Morris/Harris/Stanley mess, and we definitely don't have a starting center as Maker is far too raw and Baynes is far too average and Boban is Boban. That would be a move that would have to lead to one or two others.

Ill keep spam posting this everwhere, but truly the best fit is Drummond to L.A.

He wants to live the Hollywood lifestyle and the Lakers have big bad contracts to dump while giving up Randle + #2 and some prospects

That is a deal that fits both teams and I think we would see Drummond become an All-Star if he was playing for the Lakers

Im sure Kareem would work with him combined with living and dating all those celebs, we could see a brand new Drummond

Some of these deals make me absolutely sick. Jabari Parker? I mean give me a break.

I was even hesitant to trade for Randle with HIS injury history but if the #2 is coming back I'd do it in a heart beat. When are the Pistons ever going to get another top 3 pick again? Last time was over 13 years ago and we know how that turned out DARKKKKKKOOOO MILLLLLICICI!!!!!!!!!!

There's an obvious Drummond trade that I believe makes sense for all concerned:

Send him West to the Valley of the Sun for Chandler & Bledsoe

Bled & Chandler have 3 years remaining...Suns won't be a contender by then...

Move them now and get maximum value

We take on $4 mil more in salary which isn't a problem because...

While we're moving the poor attitudes out:

RJ & #12 to Miami for Dragic & #14

Miami save aporox $2 mil in cap space here and with Bosh coming off their books they'll have a huge amount of room...to sign 1 year deals on guys while they wait for PG13 next off-season

Taking back the extra $6 mil in salary doesn't matter since KCP gets a crazy offer that we don't match:

Chandler - #14 - Bobo
Jon - Harris - Henry
Mook - SJ
Bledsoe - Hilliard - Benji
Dragic - Ish

That's 13 dudes and we'd be below the tax, no insane contracts...

And Chandler, Bledsoe, Dragic will all improve the team's attitude and professionalism.

All 3 of those guys also expire at the same time Harris does

Chandler
?
Harris
Bledsoe
Dragic

Is a better core moving forward than Dre, Harris, KCP & RJ IMO since we'd play team ball as opposed to watching RJ pound the rock for 20 seconds before we take a long 2

I agree that Lakers make good trade partners. Something like Randle and/or Russell and Mozgov for Drummond works really well imo.

I certainly don't trade Drummond for Randle OR Russell, but both would be interesting. You have to absorb Mozgov, of course. It's worth considering.

Id rather take on both Mozgov/Deng since we are already capped out as it is

What about a three team deal?

To Lakers: Drummond, Leuer

To Pistons: #2, Randle, Nance Jr, Zubac, Mozgov, Deng

Then we could use Ellenson, Stanley, #12 to dump Reggie off maybe to the 76ers for Okafor?

#2 / Ish
KCP / ---
Tobias / Deng
Randle / Nance Jr
Okafor / Boban - Zubac - Mozgov

Im not sure where else we could possibly send Reggie, maybe to the Mavs?

Lakers don't give up Ball IMO.

If you wanna trade Dre to LA then you need to find assets other than Randle & Russell cause even with both coming back it's not enough considering we're taking Mozgov as well

1 asset (Randle) pays for taking Mozzie

Another asset (Russell) is all Dre is worth?

You must really value Russell.

And if we're taking Deng as well then Randle & Russell are nowhere near enough to blow the next 4 years on Mozgov & Deng
