DraftExpress might be showing us why they've been bad at mock predictions. What's the likelihood of Marks passing on Kurucs, Pasecniks, Ferguson, etc for Jeanne? It's Unlikely and I don't ever recall seeing anyone from our organization scout him. I could see us going after Semi but I see him being that 3rd prospect we trade Booker for and land with the Blazer pick.

Holy Christ... patton was the #1 guy on my board for non lotto players and the guy ive wanted since day one. him and fergeson would be unreal.

these mocks are tough... its less based on rankings and more based on inside info

Right and DX doesn't seem to have a solid grasp of information on our FO's interest which is understandable. Patton and Ferguson are perfect fits for Kenny's system and both definitely fit LeVert's PG skill set. No chance we pass on any of those kids for Jeanne.

So it seems that of we get any one of Patton, Semi, Pasecniks or Kurucs then almost everyone here will say we had a good draft. If we somehow manage to get two from that list, then Marks is an evil genius who can control the minds of other GM's and our development is moving forward beautifully. Is that the general consensus?

pretty much with the exception of kurucs. im super low on him and rabb. although id live with kurucs if we ended up with one of semi or patton

Why would they draft 2 small forwards? Even though I think Semi's more of a power forward. Stash Kurucs while Semi is ready to contribute right away?

Yeah it seems Kurucs might be a stash, while we really only have Joe Harris on the books as a true SF. If they both came over, Semi can get some minutes at the 4 (if Booker is moved) and Harris and Kurucs split the 30 minutes at the backup SF spot. Personally I'd be looking at a 5 to replace Lopez in a year as well as a wing. So for me Patton or Pasecniks and Semi or Kurucs would be a huge win. As I've said before, I really don't wanna get Ferguson.

I don't put too much energy into these mock drafts, teams have their own mocks . After top 10 it's pretty much anybody can get picked. I just like to wait and see what happens on draft night because I don't want to get too excited or get my hopes up. I trust Marks with any guys he take, he has proved to me that he can evaluate talent just by the Caris Levert pick. Can't wait though, this playoffs has been boring me.

his verticle doesnt make up for it so much as his bulk and strength does. RHJ played OF and semi is the same height only strong and more athletic

can we really say that Semi is more athletic than RHJ???

RHJ may not have the same vertical, but his speed and agility are top class

looked like a college line, but that would still put him a foot or two behind the NBA line

I like Frank Mason a lot. Would be a steal if we can draft him. What do you guys think about Nigel Williams-Goss from Gonzaga?

He fits the culture we're trying to build. I like his game and effort level. He's been mocked to the Nets in the second round.
