I think the 3 is worth more than the 7th and Bledsoe.

I don't think Chriss is worth the 7.

Bledsoe and Chriss for the 3 seems really in the Suns favor.

I would agree on most that. But what do you think Chriss is worth? He went 8th last year, and did nothing to hurt his value.

My original thought was...

To Suns: #3 + Holmes

To Wolves: Chriss + Warren

To Philly: Bledsoe + #7 + Miami 2018 1st

That is horrendous for PHX, no way we would even consider it

Holmes and Warren are a wash. You wouldn't do Chriss + Bledsoe + Miami 2018 for #3?

A lot of what is on the 1st page is very solid for the Suns.
I would personally trade Bledsoe for that package the Knicks offered, or if that isn't on the table then I would take the Mavs offer of #9 for Bledsoe.
The Suns aren't trading Chriss as he is part of the core just as much as Booker is. Bender is also not on the trade table as the Suns knew he would be a project and obviously he hasn't had enough time to evaluate just yet.

Going back to the trades though, with the 4th pick I would take Jayson Tatum and then with the Knicks/Mavs pick take either Malik Monk or Frank Ntilikina. Likely Monk or even Fox since Suns GM loves those Kentucky guards.

Isn't bledsoe about due for his season off due to injury? I thought it went like every other year? I would not want to give up much of value for him on my team.

Some quality input there.

Well at least better than stating Chriss is untouchable or something.

Yeah I want to trade for him but then that's the hold up cause it's just inevitable the guy won't play a full season.

Filler thrown around, I think light for Wolves.

Philly gets two guards, Bledsoe and guard at 7.

Wolves basically do 7 for Cnriss.

Suns get Jackson at 3 + their choice in GOF at 4.

Chriss is not going to be added to any trade unless it really benefits us. We think the kid has extreme upside, he was a day one starter as a raw rookie. Since we are a young rebuilding team, I think that applies to all three recent rooks, Chriss, Bender and Ulis.

Depending on those ?s that would incredibly solid for PHX, IMO. Imagine taking Fox at 4, and swinging this kind of deal:

Fox - Booker - Middleton - Chriss - Bender (for now, until a more appealing C option comes into play)

That's a really solid team geared towards the future

And Milwaukee needs an athletic versatile guard. They can then draft a 3 point shooter like Semi Ojeleye to spread the floor. It sounds like an option for Milwaukee if they're not sold on Middleton returning to form.

If PHX gets #3 - then picks are probably Fox and Jackson - so Warren and Bledsoe go in the deal. The question is what else needs to be added since it is just a little light from PHX.
Chriss has shown too much to deal. Bender is a project - and is expendable - but has value due to where he was picked. If not giving up future #1 picks - PHX or Miami - then Bender is probably best inclusion.

1 - Bender option
Warren, Bledsoe and Bender for #3, #46, #50, Okafor and 2020 OKC 1st and four NY 2nds (2018-2021).
- Chriss looks like the pf of the future - and Bender is still a project. So, PHX adds some draft assets, gets its sf and pg of the future at 3 and 4, and adds a center who still has some upside in Okafor.

pg - Fox, Ulis, Knight
sg - Booker, Barbosa
sf - Jackson, Dudley, DJones
pf - Chriss
c - Okafor, Chandler, Len (if QO made)

2 - Bender option - but shipping Knight also
Warren, Bledsoe, Knight and Bender for #3, #46, #50, and Okafor.
- no future picks just salary dump of Knight.

pg - Fox, Ulis
sg - Booker, Barbosa
sf - Jackson, Dudley, DJones
pf - Chriss
c - Okafor, Chandler, Len (if QO made)

Wow I really like this for both sides. Although, I think it's something Utah only pushes for if Hill leaves.

I think it's something Utah should push for regardless... Let Hill walk, and put Bledsoe on the team. Bledsoe is a true offensive weapon, and he can play defense. He can consistently score. Furthermore... his age fits better with the core of the Jazz team moving forward. Hayward/Gobert/Bledsoe... that's the core.

My only concern with signing Bledsoe, and loosing Hill is how solid Hill is in catch/shoot 3 situations. He's as automatic as it gets in that situation. Bledsoe isn't. But I guess you just structure it differently and know you've got a more potent offense regardless.

The point is to do it now, when the Jazz have the capspace so they wouldn't be dependent on Hill and so they would be able to go to Hayward with a PG in hand for next season. It would mean they are giving up on Hill indeed, though.

I'm all for it. Bledsoe brings real offense to the team. He'd take so much pressure off of the rest of the team, Hayward included. He's also a plus defender. His health is a ?, but I'd be willing to gamble on it.

We could always trade Hood for a rookie and resign Hill and put Hill at the SG.

I think money becomes the issue here. If we move Favors (+other stuff) to acquire Bledsoe we're still going to need another body in the paint. Lyles isn't it. Withey is going to walk. Diaw is likely traded for cap space. No Favors/Withey means we have no back-up center. No way we fill that gap, bring in Bledsoe, AND sign Hill.

If Orlando gets a SF at #6, i could see them moving Payton and trying for Bledsoe. Not sure Orlando has anything that PHX would want though.
