love mitchell for his defense, but his shot is really streaky. he had a stretch of 16 games or so where he shot over 42% from 3 on high volume, but towards the end of the season he fizzled where he made 21 out 71 fga in his final 5 college games. he has a nice looking jumper though

I think we're unusually high on Mitchell because of his fit. He's a PG who averaged 2.7 assists his sophomore year of college. He'd need to play on an NBA team with another primary ball-handler or else he'd have to slide to SG.

To be fair, he was on a team that was pretty offensively anemic. Frequently he and Snider would have to bail them out.

If we could land either Mitchell or Zach Collins at 10 and 1 of Monk/Tatum/Issac/Smith Jr at 5 id be really pleased with our draft and would make that trade for sure.

Concentrate on the ones where he is punching Josh Jackson's attempts around the basket...

Why only concentrate on those plays? He has many plays throughout the season.

Josh Hart and Sindarius Thornwell are end of the lottery prospects for me. DraftExpress has them 44 and 57, Ringer 41 and 47, nbadraft.net 50 and 29. Bring it on

I'll do it with the condition of them passing up Ball on both picks. Just for fun.

Josh Jackson is supposedly an athletic freak to his fans, but in reality he's just a quality NBA level athlete for his position similar to Chandler Parsons and Steven Jackson. Bell is an athletic freak, although his arms aren't as long as they need to be for him to be the same sort of shot blocker in the NBA. So Josh Jackson got his shots beat up by someone that IMO will not have much of an NBA career if he has one at all..

De'aaron Fox is the one player in the draft whose ceiling projects to be a player that the Golden State Warriors can not defend.

I always see you comparing Josh Jackson with Chandler Parsons..

I actually have never heard that comparison except from you.

For the record, are we talking about the same Josh Jackson.

Are you referring to this Josh Jackson?

In most drafts a guy slips a little, what do people think about keeping our 3rd and trading with Sacramento for their 10 if monk or dsj slip. I think if the right player was available I'd trade them their 2019 for 10.

I'd keep #3 and trade Saric for #10, if there were Somebody I absolutely wanted. But ultimately I don't think there is anyone that is going to be available that is worth the trouble. Just sign a guard that can shoot. I'm not giving up a top 3 pick in a draft to pickup two role players for fit.

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

There doesn't seem to be that many Euro names this year which isn't great for potential stashes with our 2nd rounders. Elan Vinokurov mentioned Bulgarian PF Aleks Vezenkov who apparently is a lights out shooter with very limited physical abilities; I imagine there will be at least one 3 and D guy that is all potential that is a stash for us that we'll all be googling after the draft. Its a good year to have a lot of 2nd rounders given this is a deep draft and the roster expansion - the value of those picks is substantial compared to almost any other draft year you could name.
