Why is it only Lakers fans the vehemently hate the Cavs yet Clippers fans don't? They claim it's a Cali thing but I have a feeling it's more about Kobe.

For the really transparently trollish ones, it largely is. There are some people in that camp who just can't stand that LeBron gets all the love they think should've gone to Kobe, and it makes them mad that LeBron's body didn't break down at 30, forcing him to retire ringless, they way they predicted he would.

It's a small minority and we all know what I'm talking about, but unfortunately, that minority is quite vocal (especially here on RealGM) and they make a terrific fanbase look bad.

There are some trolls but coming from the other side, you can't force Lebron as the greatest player ever just because that is the flavor of the moment. When Kobe was considered the best player, there were a lot of trolls from all realms of REALGM. Lebron-stans have to realize that every great player, and Lebron is truly great, gets criticism....deal with it.......

This is true. I don't hate Lakers fans per say but most Dubs fans don't like the Lakers as a franchise. I think Sacramento Kings fans have more reason to hate them though.

Yeah, that's just how LA people are. They are the kind that are Dodgers fans now, but where Angels fans when they were good etc.
