I came across a mock draft today (Matt Lombardo) that has us trading #1 to Philly for Okafor, Holmes, and the LA '18 pick. Then trading the #3 for the #5 and #10 and taking Jackson and Smith. Four for one or five for one actually.

So, Okafor, Holmes, Josh Jackson, Dennis Smith, and LA '18? Jackson doesn't last to 5, and that's like trading a dollar for five quarters. In the NBA, one dollar is worth more.

I do think this is very possibly what Philly would offer for Fultz. And I do think that Jackson could be (50%) available at 5, and that Smith might be a very viable guard for us in 2 years. But, of course, because I posted it, that doesn't mean I'm either for it, or that I think it might happen.

Zeller & resigned JJ or Amir for Pau Gasol as they look to shed salary for CP3? I think either of them going from Brad to Pop would work out nicely for SAS.

If you're in the Hayward camp, do this after we sign/s&t for him. Would have to come together quick with Zeller's guarantee date pretty early, I believe.

True, but not compared to who we're sending over... Maybe get a pick sweetener for helping them out. Have him play 10-15 Amir role, tutor Zizic, etc. And then he's salary ballast at the deadline if need be. Not overly exciting, nonetheless.

No, I think its possible. They have a bunch of picks this year so they may think that loading up on the 18' draft is a good thing. You might have to swap out another player instead of mickey or jackson, but its not that far off

I'm embarrassed to even read this trade proposal. It couldn't be futher off. Bradley isn't worth LAL18 alone not to mention rest of the staff proposed there. Jackson, Mickey and BOS18 are almost useless garbage.

Why not Bradley for Simmons/Embiid staright up while we're at it?

I don't disagree with you. Just sharing what I heard. If it's true, I could see why. The Celtics have historically traded and drafted player with health questions if they have higher upside.

I could see Danny thinking that Blake at his peak is a better player than Hayward. Plus, He fits our most pressing need and last year he increased his 3s taken and show 33 percent. I could see him becoming a very good 3 guy later in his career like Horford.

If we end up with either player, I am going to be estatic.

I think if it's Griffin, there's a greater chance of it being a sign-and-trade as compared to Utah because of Danny's relationship with Doc. And I always believed there was something to the rumors of Griffin-to-the-Celtics in the past but Doc of course would deny it until it's time to move on.
