I'm all ears. Not necessarily looking to move him but would if there was a decent offer.

I'm interested in setting up a trade contingent on Chris Paul signing with us. We will have a $17.1 million trade exception and would like to use part of that to acquire Chandler. We would be willing to send along multiple second round picks in exchange.

We would like to have Pau come over, play meaningful minutes at the Center and PF as a reserve and serve as a mentor to Nurkic. Is this something that interests him? Hes a great veteran player and we wouldnt want to have him come to Portland unwillingly, the organization from Paul to Dame want him to join, but its his call

Pau will accept going to Portland

I will have to see if there is any other interest and also see what happens in RFA with Len and Williams before even considering anything like that.

I would like to keep the dialog open. At this point do you have a counter offer?

I have too many unknowns regarding RFA or how much interest other teams might offer to accept a few 2nds. I mean if you are willing to offer a first I'd consider it. Preferably 2019.

Reposting this here so it doesn't get lost.

xSABOx wrote:Just so you don't go empty handed, would you be interested in a sign and trade for serge Ibaka for Ryan Anderson and your choice of Alec Peters or Jaron Blossomgame? Give you a true stretch 4 and help you guys move into a more of a ball movement once and space offense? Nothing on the market is going to get you a better option IMO.

Not sure if you missed it in the other thread but do you have any interest in a Lou Williams for Al Aminu swap?

Not sure if the exception you have is large enough, but we're willing to ship you Ryan Anderson if it works.

Hawks offer Dion Waiters
Year 1: 12.5M
Year 2: 13M
Year 3: 13.5M
Year 4: 14M (player option)
Total = 43M

If Dion Waiters accepts our offer then he will be our starting SG & we will pull THJ's Qualifying Offer to make the money work.

Sorry but I don't get it. You want some help from the team he signed an offer sheet with? What would you offer or what is your idea?

You can't max out CP3 if you match that offer for Simmons, right?

I would have to sign Paul first. I can sign him with Simmons cap hold in place then match Simmons.

Now that he's signed an offer sheet you can't do a sign and trade. Limited to either matching or letting him go.

Mock Off-Season: Free Agency Day 3

Post#20 » by wackbone » Fri Jun 9, 2017 4:58 am

The Celtics would like to offer the following:

Andre Iguodala - 1+1 (PO in second year), 6 million per
Ersan Ilyasova - 1 year, 4 million
Greg Monroe - 2 years, 6 million per

We would place some of our young guys in the D-League/on 2 way contracts if we get 2 or 3 of these guys.
