The word "Director" is key here - I think its a good hire, this guy has a LOT of experience, and experience across over a lot of years with a lot of body types is extremely important in this exact area because there is a lot of misinformation around it. I doubt he will be doing that much actual training but will be overseeing things, ie programming, checking for technique etc. Congrats on the hire.
