Re: 2017 Draft Workouts
Karnowski was the reason Collins didn't start for Gonzaga, so he's probably draftable at least. The rest of these...

So, no prospect worth drafting. Awesome. Thanks for keeping us posted social media.

Re: 2017 Draft Workouts
Seems our first 1-2 workouts each year are a group of 2nd rounders, UFA types. Maybe they like to get the kinks out before bringing in the 1st round guys - establish a baseline, determine which drills work best, drill down structure of workouts. Process probably changes slightly each year, so its probably good to have a warm-up.

He sucked in the National Championship game, couldn't even hit wide open layups. No thanks on the big goofy dude.

yeah i question whether he makes it in the league but iirc he suffered an eye injury in that game and could only focus one of his eyes. that was definitely part of his struggles in the final game. I think he's worth a look if all our options are gone at 41.
I'm not opposed to a young big strong dude like him as our 14-15th man instead of an over-the-hill guy like Maxiell
investigate Adam Silver

Heard on the radio Justin Jackson has a workout with us scheduled (he said it in an interview).

Re: 2017 Draft Workouts
I don't want Karnowski at 41. He's a pretty good passer for a big dude, but completely got by with bully ball. He's going to be a nonfactor and there are way too many better options around that slot

Re: 2017 Draft Workouts
Another no-brainer is P.J. Dozier at 41, if he lasts that long, which I seriously doubt. Comes from an NBA pedigree and really showed me something in the tournament as a ball handler. He'll make some team happy as a swing guard with size and defensive potential. I believe he could handle the point in limited minutes.

Karnowski struggled big time with length and anyone he couldnt man handle. I dont see any way he is productive in the NBA

If we draft a big in the 1st we should trade up to get Dozier in the 2nd. He's another wing/guard that can't shoot, but he has enough skill with the ball in his hands to not be a liability on that end. And he has the defensive versatility to guard 1-3. I really, really like him as a prospect.

How does Dozier compare to the Harrison twin that we had?

Does not appear, at this time, that Giles will work out for the Hornets.
