Don't surprise me. His highlight didn't blow me away either. Kid got good vision and passing skill, but his release is kind of low. Still won't surprise me if Lakers do pick him. There is stuff you can practice and improve. I don't think you can teach the feel of the game. I think Ball is better than Jackson. Fultz is clearly #1 pick.

Guess so but it was not my quote.

Even if he isn't like his father it's hard to believe his father won't be a nuisance. Regardless still think the Lakers pick him second.

If I were the Lakers I might push hard for Fultz, Jackson, or Fox if I really wanted Ball. You never know what a desperate team will do in order to get their guy.

Magic already knows if he wants Ball or not. The workout really wouldn't change anything, unless Ball was being a total d-head. Or something like that.

Theres nothing to smokescreen with the second pick.. Especially with Fultz locked in at #1. Sounds to me like they are looking for a trade partner. Which means they will probably endup drafting Fox.. Which is who they should draft anyway imo

Lol 100% agree if i am the Lakers I will be like i want Fultz Fultz Fultz Fultz. Then if Boston cant force us by trying to make a trade with us with trade or we take ball. It also makes it if Boston picks anyone we can exort PHI into trading for Fultz and we still get ball =b

Its all chatter at this point. They just dont want it to be too obvious that Ball is their target in case the Cs decide to hold him hostage.

Not a smoke screen. My friend that works for the Lakers text me the day of the work out and said he didn't look good. He supposedly missed a bunch of shots and looked tired rather quickly. He said they are still highly considering him for the 2nd pick but have decided to look at other prospects more closely.

They'll have to kick Lonzo out for jumping up and trying to run up on the draft stage to argue.

Jackson and Fox looked to be better players to me to be honest. Lonzo might end up in Phoenix.

I laughed at this. I like the Balls and Lonzo but you are right - it would be funny to see how they react if Lonzo winds up in BOS/PHI and not LAL.

Even better - what if SAC trades up to take Ball? Vivek and LaVar together would be quite a spectacle to watch!!!

Worst kept secret of the draft. Lakers can't draft Ball fast enough. I imagine Magic is salivating over a portrait of Ball at this point.
