How about this 3-teamer?
AB/#5/future Clippers pick to Philly
#3 to Sac
#10 to us.

Depends on how Philly feels about Bradley but this isn't bad at all. I pull the trigger for Boston as we need the cap space for Hayward. Take Giles at 10 and we're in business

Re: Summer Trade Thread 2017
Hi guys. I just wanted to share my opinion on the Kings/Fultz talk. The Kings have said they plan on keeping both picks so I wouldn't buy into the Chad Ford talk of 5/10 for 3. This is the same guy who said no prospects would visit Sac this year. My personal belief with Sac attempting to secure a visit/workout is strictly repairing FO/agent perceptions and relationships. Selling our Farm for Fultz doesn't make sense, and Boston trading a dollar for change isn't smart either.

Welcome.
Roseville's a great town by the way - Placer County has to be the most underrated place to live in California.

What is the package from Philly that you accept?
Simmons and the third pick. Nothing less
I wouldn't trade Simmons for Fultz, let alone adding the 3rd pick as well.
Oddly all the experts said if they were both in the same draft, Fultz would go number 1, and he didn't just miss a year with a broken foot.
But, when your number one goal is to lose more than anyone else, i can see where you'd want to keep simmons instead.

EDIT: I also haven't seen anything legit (yet) about any Griffin rumors, unless you consider Sherrod Blakely speculations legit.
Is it even possible to sign Griffin and trade for George? We would most likely need to decimate our team. Still don't want to give up the #1 pick for him either.
It is possible without giving away the #1 pick but it opens a lot of questions.

Like this trade a lot. Could see Sac wanting something else in return. But I would definitely take that trade.

I'd rather have Clippers pick than #10. A high pick then will be more valuable than having a 7th young player to develop
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

Not really sure why the Clippers pick is in there. Adding AB to move down two spots is a great deal for the Sixers.

Pick can't be better than 14. 7 young players? The ones that matter are really Zizic, Fultz, and Jaylen. The rest are more long shot-ish punts.
Does feel like Philly is making out a bit in that deal. Wouldn't stop me from saying yes, but still think we can get away with it with less outgoing.

I think Philly is a team that values AB the player highly but is also a team that will be more gunshy than most about impending UFA given their rep. The Clips pick softens that.

Re: Summer Trade Thread 2017
Bradley would absolutely take 20-30 million to stay in Philly with Simmons, Embiid, Saric etc. He'd be a 26 year old veteran leader with playoff experience. Would be kind of like when we got Jeff Green for Perk - that trade wasn't a big win for us, but it was Perkins' "seasoning" we were capitalizing on.
I think Bradley for 10 is a mistake, though. 10, Saric I'd probably do.
Shocked if we don't take Fultz first overall. But cap management seems crucial. Are we getting Blake or Hayward, without a sign-and-trade? After that, do we have salary chips left to get Butler or Paul George? Bradley/Crowder/Smart probably matches salary for one.

Good deal if they're drafting Fultz.
If the draft plays out Fultz 1, Ball 2, Fox 3, Jackson 4 and Monk 5, either Isaac or Tatum is still on the board at 7. Minny will probably be reluctant to deal, but Crowder and #10, for #7 and a filler could entice Minny.

The Kings aren't trading 10/5 for 3 in any which way

Before the season started and before Simmons hurt his foot everyone at the 76ers knew who was the best player on that team in pre season workouts - and his name was Simmons - even Embid said so - why do you think any Sixers management talk is all centred around Simmons and who fits with him.
Good luck with offering your no1 pick and Nets 18 pick for him.

Fultz is better than anyone on your team.

It's a tough squeeze. Any hope would include Olynyk S&T, in that his cap hold is well less than his likely actual salary.

Creative idea, I really like it. Removes the logjam in the guards but does take us a step back competitive wise. Alternately they could simply trade ab and Crowder for the number 7 directly

I don't have a team - am in another country - but I love basketball and pay close attention to a lot of NBA teams and players , good luck with whoever you guys pick , but for my money Simmons will be better.
