I haven't seen that one yet, the first one was alright but it was hard not to pull the piss out of it as they got it wrong geographically

Thats a pretty spot on way to describe the series. The seasons are thematically linked, but each individual season is really special in its own unique way.

The Michael Cera cameo was great. I hope thats not the last we see of his character.

About to watch Episode 6, but I'm disappointed.

Spoiler:
I'm alright with the supernatural stuff. Let Lynch be Lynch. Some of the moments from the first three episodes like the observation room was captivating. However, I cannot take his stalling and the scenes with seemingly no larger meaning. I could have done without the extra 10 scenes of lethargic Agent Cooper roaming around and somehow nobody noticing that there's something wrong with him. His Lynchian humor has been very hit or miss.

Same goes for the times when he's done something like return to Hawk and Andy just to let us know that, oh yeah, that storyline from episode 2 is still ongoing, just wait.

You can now understand why Showtime wanted to shorten the series before he almost bolted. This probably would have been better if he had less run time to work with. Hoping Episode 6 changes my mind...

Spoiler:
I definitely agree that there have been some unnecessary scenes and although I have mostly enjoyed the amnesiac Cooper wandering around, the pace of the progression of that Cooper stuff has gotten a bit frustrating. However, I'm not really too bothered by any of it. I'm still glad they went with the longer run time. This seems to be Lynch's most ambitious project and it might be his last major work, so I am fine with sitting through some unnecessary stuff if it means that Lynch also has the freedom to get everything in there that he wanted to do with the series. I'd rather there be too much than not enough, or for him to have to potentially leave out something important to fit run time or budget constraints. Ya gotta let Lynch do Lynch imo. I definitely understand where you are coming from, though.

Good point. You might have swayed me a bit and made me a bit more considerate.

I NEEEED AGENT COOPER

We're all dying for his return.
Spoiler:
Im convinced Lynch is straight up trolling with the Cooper stuff. I got a good laugh during the scene where he was drawing in the case files thinking about how annoyed you probably were. At least it looks like Cooper pretty much has to snap out of it next episode or hes getting straight wrecked by that midget lol.
