Did I say prime A-Rod? I meant prime Barry Bonds.

The Yankees' run differential over the past five days is +46. They have won those five games by an average of nine runs.

Anybody with a brain was against that trade from the get go. AA lost his entire Vernon Wells cache with a single stroke. Going to set back this franchise for years in terms of performance, dollars, lost prospects,,,,

Well he did help them make two straight post-seasons, but yeah, probably don't want to look at what Jeff Hoffman is doing this year.

On the plus side, they delivered some serious shambles to the Red Sox and Orioles.

But is he better than Prime Chris Colabello?

Well, there is no game thread for the Rays two-gamer, maybe just as well. I go to the store to get a few veggies, I come back and we've not only given up six runs, but 13 HITS - it's the fourth inning. 13 HITS!

Come on, let's get this fire sale under way

Goes without saying that if Estrada has reverted to his pre-Blue Jay form, this season is over.

I'm all in for a fire sale. Time to trade some of these aging players and get some prospects in return. After hearing Travis was pretty much done for the season, that was the nail in the coffin for me.

Time for a rebuilt. It was only a matter of time, but it needs to happen.
