What do you guys think? How high are people on Hezonja right now?

Really nice piece. Hezojna is frustrating because you see the tools and the desire to succeed but it's not happening. I think he's gotten a raw deal in orlando with coaches who won't allow him to play through his mistakes because they want to win so bad. I'd love to see what a D'Antoni could do with him. I'm not ready to give up on him yet.

I'm not high on Mario yet but I believe he can turn it around still. Way too much potential.

That article was a nice reminder of how talented Mario is.

Hopefully he can put it all together this summer (cmon Forcier....work your magic).

It'll be great to find that missing piece at SF on our own roster!

I'll take any good news on MH23 that I can get. Hopefully everything clicks this year and he earns a starting role.

Excellent article! Its very vital for this team to almost give him starter minutes to see his true potential!

That's why I came up with this trade:

Any chance he plays summer league?

Would be fun to see any improvements hes made to that point, plus it'll be good to see him play as a main scorer/playmaker along with our #6 pick!

Either way summer league is going to be very intriguing with so many picks. I'm excited to see the entire draft class in this years various summer leagues!

I obviously want Mario to succeed, but this article is basically saying we have an All-Star on the bench and it's the coach holding him back... I'm not buying that.

Mario needs to show improvement to earn the minutes, then, he needs to do something with those minutes.

We chose him expecting offensively talented, very athletic player who is elite shooter. We need him to bring balance to our offensively challenged group of players, with alpha mentality to potentially lead them one day.

Mario's inability to fulfill those promises has been very frustrating for us fans.

I'll be honest, I don't expect Mario to stick in the NBA for long. He has been very poor and doesn't have a single skill that's at an NBA level. If he even becomes a rotation player I'll be ecstatic.

His shot mechanics and passing are all NBA quality though. His defense has been holding him back i think.

It doesn't matter how good his mechanics are if they don't go in. He makes a good pass every now and then but he's not a good passer by any means

Actually that's far from the truth. a potential NBA players mechanics are even more important than makes. A guy with good mechanics but doesn't hit at a high percentage shows promise. Which is why though Lonzo Ball shot a high percentage from 3 his shot is still questioned because his mechanics are horrendous. I guess we have to agree to disagree on that one. I actually think he can be a point forward. I've seen him make passes that Payton hasn't made.

Well you're seeing things I'm not seeing. He doesn't have the ball handling ability or scoring ability to to be a creator so point forward is out of the question

I think he's got loads of potential, but I don't know if he'll be able to fully maximise it here. We keep trying to box him into being a team guy who defers, but I think he needs to get to a team like Brooklyn where he can be fearless in trying to be one of their top options. We know he's got the ability to facilitate and make passes, but he needs to get that alpha edge and confidence back before those skills will really make a difference.

He might find more success here if we didn't have guys like Fournier and Vuc choking up the pecking order. They absolutely deserve to be taking shots, but at this point in our rebuild we need to continue trying to unearth talent, not keep watering the hedges which have already bloomed.

Mechanics are more important than the fact that he's shooting poorly?

What kind of contorted logic is that?

Mario can't see the floor because he's a turnover machine. Everything else would be fine if he didn't s*** his pants every time a defender gets in front of him.

We should trade him to BKLN for some future 1sts. They seem to be handing those out like candy lately.

Maybe we convince them he's Kobe and he's just been held back by two coaches that don't know how to use him.

not understanding? you want to trade away a very good, starting SG to give Hezonja at SF more time?
