Like I said many times again, the officiating in game 4 ruined the game for me.

First quarter they let the game slipped away from GSW with many bad calls, they tried way too hard to make GSW while not making it too obvious, at least that's how it felt like for me.

Melo is not the PG obviously and he has a high USG rate, inherently handles the ball far more than a bigman by nature of his position of a high profile wing player, and often brings the ball up himself as we all should know by now. wing players get to make more decisions about offense than bigmen do, basically

You're right in that the FO were the one who gave melo and rose to KP. but it's not as if Melo and rose cannot just pass the damn ball. The FO seemed to think that Melo and Rose could change their ways of playing....obviously wrong. Doesnt change the fact that Melo and Rose are cancerous

http://stats.nba.com/players/touches/#!?Season=2016-17&SeasonType=Regular%20Season&sort=AVG_SEC_PER_TOUCH&dir=1

Melo was 152nd in the NBA in seconds the ball was in his hand per possession. You're letting the 1-2 games where he does have the ball for 7-8 seconds misrepresent what actually happened.

You clearly don't understand how to use the term cancer as it's related to sports. Is Melo or DRose disrupting the locker room? Nope. Are they the ones using the media to propel their agenda? Nope. Wth is cancerous about them? That you don't like how they play? That's a stupid reason to call someone cancerous.

What does his 152nd rank in seconds the ball was in his hand per possession have to do with anything? There are so many more important factors to look at, such as length of possession, and what he actually does when the ball is in his hands. This is why we have the stat called USG%, where melo is highest on the team as usual, and by a decent margin to boot.

There is no official way to use "cancerous" in the setting of sports, so don't try to act like there is. What you're referring to can be described as "off-the-court court cancer"

What I'm describing is really "on-the- court cancer"

Melo is cancerous, especially when talking about the development of someone who should be first option on a team. Porzingis only gets the scraps in terms of offense.

The stat I gave you was the average length of possession he has. He's 152nd in that regard. 500+ players - he has the ball in hands on average 152nd most.

Not sure how he's a cancer on the court. You're acting like they didn't resign him because he is a scorer and that's what they want him to do. Should he scale it back some? Yeah. Cancerous? Far from it IMO. We can agree to disagree

You want KP to shoot more 3 pointers? We're getting a good pick this draft. We have Willy. I hope we resign Holiday. Lee's a very solid player. We're rebuilding, so we need to build our core first and, you're right, KP was the first piece in this process. He was the first first round pick Phil had since being hired.

HW what does any of what you wrote have to with maxing KP as a stretch 5?

Hey, I'm cool with KP keeping the 3 in his arsenal especially if he improves his handle. Imagine him drawing out the other team's center to the 3 point line then putting the ball on the floor for a drive and slam dunk? But his post game is lacking right now.

We did have the original stretch 5 in Jerry Lucas for the '73 championship team. It is, however, a bit of an anomaly to play the tallest man on the court at 7'3" so far away from the basket. (Even Lucas had good hook shot out of the post.) I would also like a monster in the middle who would, in turn, cause double teams which KP could also pass out of to get others open shots. He needs to find his inner Jokic in the post. We know he can shoot the 3 pointer.

I believe KP can do it all if he keeps his mind right and continues to work hard on his game.

When it comes to him getting it in the post, I think he should face up a la Dirk instead of backing down like Gasol. He has the speed and dexterity to get by but also has the high shot to shoot right over the defense. I think his handle will only get better and it could make him just unstoppable. Below are some example of it. You close out hard he'll blow by you. You give some space he'll rain 3's down.

We absolutely have to maximize this guy to take the next step for this franchise. That's why I'm always dying for competent true PG play. These guys can hit him consistently facing up to cause those situations where the defense has to pick their poison. I don't think the triangle will give him enough of these.

Get a real pg, play him at C & we could unlock a 30/10/ 3 monster who flirts with 50/40/90.

Our FO really knocked this one out of the park. Let's hope we can do it again.

I will say this about Kyrie, dude is the epitome of good offense trumping good defense. I don't think I've seen anyone consistently hit on the types of difficult shots, especially layups, that he has these past couple years.

Just an absolutely unstoppable offensive force. Not sure why they didn't let him loose games 1&2. Him going super nova has always been the only shot they had.

Dude said he's cancerous because he doesn't give the ball to KP every possession.

I really can't stand these dudes

When was the last time NY had a good player coming out with hype? NYC HS players are the most overhyped myth we talk about. Haven't seen a good player with decent hype since Mark Jackson?

Boy, never read so many posts where Cleveland was defended with the tradition of bad calls, etc. NBA plays softer than Church music these days. The Cavs met a team that had an answer for them. Game 1 Draymond made life hell for Kevin Love. Game 2 Warriors back court were just executing better than Cavs. Game 3: Durant with the dagger. Game 4: No one was interested in playing defense.

As for Sebastian Telfair, just sad.

Game 5 tonight, my prediction is Warriors by a lot. Of course I said the same thing in game 4 and was way off, but Warriors at home to win the title seems like too much to overcome for the Cavs.

Cavs have outplayed them in 2 straight games, but the late collapse in game 4 was catastrophic. I'll be surprised if Kyrie drops an efficient 30+ again. I believe Warriors defense will do a much better job.

Cavs as a team need to just have irrational confidence. Just shoot the shyt out of that ball w/ no hesitation. Steph might bounce back tonight, and KD will always get his, so they need to try their best to contain Klay and the role players.

Hope im wrong with my prediction though, game 6 back in CLE will be exciting and all the talk of the Warriors choking the series away will inch closer to reality. The talk shows will have wall to wall coverage if Warriors lose tonight. & If game 7 happens I look forward top ESPN bringing in A-Rod and Kevin Millar to discuss the mindset of both teams. Need the Dubs to take this crown away from us.
