This is the same guy who said no prospects would visit Sac this year. My personal belief with Sac attempting to secure a visit/workout is strictly repairing FO/agent perceptions and relationships. Selling our Farm for Fultz doesn't make sense, and Boston trading a dollar for change isn't smart either.

Surprised you'd say that. I'd do that deal in a heartbeat from Sac's side. You need stars to win and Fultz is the best player in the draft. Give me one great player over two very good ones.

But suppose you don't think Fultz is the best player in the draft?

You still get to choose your guy, rather than take what's left at 5.

But it's not going to be #1 for #5 and #10. It's going to be #1 for Cauley-Stein (or Labissiere), #5 and #10. And if your guy is Tatum, Fox or Issac, he may be there at #5 anyway.

I do not see us trading down...ok getting 3 plus Stein could be tempting if danny likes Jackson...but no way sac would trade 5, 10 + stein for 1, do not think so...oor would they :)

How valuable is Iman Shumpert? Can he get you a Jae Crowder, as one Western Conference coach threw out there?

Shumpert is garbage.

AB/#5/future Clippers pick to Philly

Depends on how Philly feels about Bradley but this isn't bad at all. I pull the trigger for Boston as we need the cap space for Hayward. Take Giles at 10 and we're in business

You want to do all this to take Giles @10?

Even with Z.Collins on the board?

Yep. I gamble on the upside, Celtics are in perfect position to do it

Collins has plenty of upside.

Collins has plenty of upside.

Giles has more. He was the number one overall pick before his knees.

Every few weeks, I come here and post a bad trade then get bashed and leave until my next bad trade idea.. Without further ado...

Multi-team deal where the Celtics get Khris Middleton and 5th Overall (Jonathan Isaac?) for Avery Bradley, Tyler Zeller and 1st Overall?
Disclaimer: Trades I post shouldn't make you stressed or angry if you disagree. If you say it's unproductive because it won't happen and we're only allowed to post deals that actually happen, it takes away 99% of trades here and the fun out of the board.

What do you think about Markannen? I know he seems like a one-dimensional shooter that doesn't rebound well but he's still very young with an elite skillset at the 5. He's pretty mobile offensively. IF he can get on Brian Doos strength program and over the next 3 years increase core strength, he's a player that you could maybe put with Al who would not be bashful (unlike Kelly) about stretching the floor. He can attack closeouts reasonably well. He's got a few defensive technique things that if he was to workout, he could be passable defensively at the 5. Against the better comp he's gonna struggle oright out the gate but against some backup bigs, his consistent shooting ability would absolutely help open up the floor.
and that's "MR. Irrelevant" to you!!

My God, that's awful. Not sure that would be a good deal if you left Bradley out of it even.

Somehow each idea keeps getting worse. Horrible for Boston.

I want nothing to do with Markkanen or Ntilikina. Think both are going to bust completely. I see Markkanen as Kaminsky at the very best at the next level and that's being generous

While I can't blame you for that opinion, I can't decide if there is a jewel there hiding in plain sight or if I'm over thinking it.

Is Markannen a 5? I see his ceiling as Troy Murphy or Ryan Anderson at the 4. Floor is Kris Humphries with a jumpshot.

I don't know if Giles ever gets his explosiveness back - DSJ has somehow recovered from an ACL tear without losing a beat - but even slow off the floor Giles is probably a top 10 pick, if he hadn't played so badly at Duke. Struggling to get his timing back, right - but everyone's forgetting he's a great rebounder and shot blocker, instinctively, and has textbook crisp, efficient post moves. He's twice as good as Ivan Rabb, at least.

Markkanen it's an olynyk 2.0, a 3 big at best. Makes no sense waste a lottery pick in a player like him, like ainge did in 2013 draft.
