The Sixers promised Ben they would take him. They did a whole workout with clips and had his jersey.

That was in order to get the workout IIRC. Here, I think if Boston asked JJ would work out for them considering he's already worked out for teams below 1.

It wasn't to get him to workout for them. As soon as he was drafted they released a video of him and Embiid and everything. They promised him.

The video was released the day before the draft if Google is correct.
They say an analytics man doesn't have a heart, but I ran the numbers and nothing can be further from the truth - Sam Hinkie probably

Man Lakers fans REALLY want Lonzo Ball. Can't blame them, I think he's a perfect fit for them. Much better than Jackson. I said before I'll buy the Lakers passing on Ball when they pass on Ball. Don't see how Jackson fits with Ingram. And even if they aren't thinking fit or don't care about it, Ball is a perfect fit and a very talented prospect. I guess we'll find out soon.

Was it 6'8 or 6'10?

She said "81 inches" with equals 6'7.5, however it didn't appear that he was completely extended. At least he's self aware of his T-Rex arms.

How could 81 inches come out to .5 inches lol. It's 6'9".

Literally in 5 seconds goes from saying he skipped the combined to avoid bad information getting out there to letting this random reporter give him a crappy wingspan measurement on video. What is he thinking?

she probably promised some good stuff after the interview

dennis smith always looks like the most talented player whenever he's surrounded by other prospects.

i hope to god jj has been promised by the celtics, so the lakers take ball and the sixers land fultz

I'll believe Ball gets past the Lakers when I see it. More "likes" and followers by mentioning the Lakers. Then he covers himself by throwing the 76ers in there...

The Lakers are the best fit for Fultz. Neither us or the Celtics run the pick and roll much.

Ugh. Fultz meeting with the Lakers. Evidently he didn't get the guarantee from the Celtics I was hoping for. He'll fall to #3 and it's 2015 all over again.

Doesn't mean we shouldn't though. Embiid was one of the most efficient rollers in the league, and on volume. That's been Fultz's primary appeal for me.

Rollers
Player Pts/Poss Poss/Gm
Rudy Gobert 1.53 2.0
Enes Kanter 1.33 2.8
Clint Capela 1.30 2.9
Joel Embiid 1.30 3.2
Brook Lopez 1.27 2.5

Rudy Gobert is far and away the best of the five on a per-possession basis, at 1.53 points per possession. He has been a part of the pick-and-roll on just 17.8% of his possessions, but he's achieved this level of efficiency by shooting 80% scoring on 78.2% of the opportunities. Gobert only makes 1.1 field goals off the pick-and-roll per game, so his 3.0 points per game suggests that when he's not scoring he's getting to the free throw line. And he does, at 27.3%, get to the line quite frequently.

The next-closest player in terms of getting to the line is Joel Embiid, who draws a shooting foul on 21.1% and an and-one on 7% of his pick-and-roll possessions. In doing so -- and hitting at an effective field goal percentage of 67.4% -- Embiid, on somewhat of a part-time basis, has produced 4.1 points on a group-high 2.6 attempts off the pick-and-roll.

Imagine if Embiid had played with a nice PnR ball handler.

The only good news regarding a Fultz fall to 3-- and I do mean the only good news-- is virtually every so-called draft guru has proclaimed Fultz the no brainer #1 pick. Ok smart guys.

Yeah, I better just get my mind right and accept it. I'm just going to watch highlight videos for the next two weeks and try to recondition myself into thinking he's better than I thought.
