Now that it's all over I will complain:

The Warriors did nothing wrong and should be applauded for building this team within the rules.

However, going forward, it's absolute bull-**** that no other team in the league will be allowed under the cap rules to build a Big 4 of HOF players in their prime to compete with them, barring one or multiple players taking MASSIVE paycuts, not comparable to the slight paycuts some or all of the Warriors Big 4 will eventually take. Cleveland for example is stuck at a Big 3 and cannot match Golden State. Boston has a Big 2, if you want to be generous and call Horford and Thomas that, and cannot match Golden State by adding 2 additional ones. etc., etc., etc.

A series of coincidences lined up perfectly for the Warriors to be able to sign Durant, and hat's off to them for getting it done. But I now have a big problem going forward if they get to continue to run out this Big 4 in additional seasons while all other teams are prevented from being able to make a similar signing and prevented from even building a team with a chance to win a best of 7 series against them.

Outside of Lebron, the whole Cavs roster is trash. I'm including Kyrie, because as good as his numbers are and as incredible as some of his shots are, that dude is a low IQ, hero ball player that doesn't make his team better.

And man does Kevin Love stink. If he shows up in games 3 and 5 CLE is up 3-2 with a chance to clinch at home.

Makes you appreciate how good Lebron really is, but he should have never left Pat Riley.

Cavs issue is that they are completely built around Bron playing PG. They have no idea how to run an offensive set without him and their team's skillsets are only complementary to him. Without Bron they get stagnant and are so mediocre on defense that when they play a team who isn't an ECF pretender they look pedestrian.

You look at that roster and they have quality. They just lack playmaking. It is perfectly tailored around LeBron, but when he sits they are horrible.

They have no 2 way players.
They have low IQ players all across the roster, including Kyrie.
Kyrie and Love are not effective without the ball.
They don't match up with Golden State, who has superior talent. Rank the players on the rosters:
Lebron James
Steph Curry
Kevin Durant
Klay Thompson
Kyrie Irving
Draymond Green
Andre Iguodala
Kevin Love

This series really opened my on how dominant Kyrie can potentially be at times. And LeBron of course...

Good series. Hope to see Part IV next year.

Beta-ring

1. An orange-yellow to red crystalline pigment, C40H56, found in animal tissue and certain plants, such as carrots and squash. It exists in several isomeric forms and is converted to vitamin A in the liver.

2. What Kevin Durant just "won" as a member of the Golden State Warriors.

Why are there so many salty people calling out Durant while praising Lebron at the same time. :noway:

If your calling Durant a coward the same applies to Lebron. Maybe he should've sign a short contract to coincide with the free agency of a few other super stars and build a team from there instead because for some reason that isn't as cowardly.

Just nothing impressive about this.

Not anywhere NEAR the 2015 finals when Lebron was taking Delly, Mozgov, James Jones Mike Miller to game 6. And Mozgov dominating and Curry/Klay struggling adjusting to physical defense and doubles.

At least in year's finals, both teams were healthy and playing at a incredibly high level from the start. The first 6 minutes of game 1 was fun to watch. This series was closer than the actual results and needed KD to play out of his mind, keys misses (by Korver, Love) to win in 5.

But entire NBA season, top talent level and playoffs were terrible. Trade Love for Paul George or Jimmy Butler and let these two teams go at it. Warriors are so unlikable as a whole besides KD, Shaun, iggy Matt barnes Klay ron adams and few others..
Professional sports is idolatry.

Steph is lowkey upset. You know he was standing at the front of the podium for the last few minutes just in case the voters had a change in heart.

I wonder how Steph feels about never getting that Finals MVP. Seriously, as a competitor he can't love that. Maybe he doesn't care, but it impacts his legacy.
