Jackson's camp would repudiate that immediately. Besides how would the suns keep Jackson from working out for other teams then?

Is this a normal part of the process?

UCLA is next door and who knows about Ball the best? All point to Ball still.

Apparently Fultz workout didn't go great either for the Celtics. Twist!

Fultz to visit the Lakers later this week. lol

Now I'm having dreams of that promise being made by the Celtics. Ainge does love his athletic defensive prospects.

Lakers and Celtics FO's just **** with each other at this point. Id rather watch a Lavar Ball interview then the crap coming out from each teams' beat writers.

Although, it would be hilarious to see Celtics take Jackson, Lakers take Lonzo, and 76ers take Fultz at three after being the consensus #1.

Having the Celtics draft Jackson instead of Fultz or Ball to go along with Smart would put a smile on my face for a good long time...

One can only hope that Boston is that committed to Isaiah.

Lonzo has continually grown on me. I've been a Jackson advocate since late in the College season, but now I'm not sure If I'd be happy or sad we passed on Ball if that happened or someone took him at 1.

Nooooooooo. :(

Looks like we are probably taking Jackson. We've worked him out and Philadelphia has not. Makes little sense to give a promise without a workout.

Time to watch highlights of Jackson and delude myself with false hopes of this being a great pick.

TylersLakers wrote:Couple questions:

- If the end game is Paul George, which we've heard through every reliable source in the NBA, how does having Ingram/Jackson/PG and to a lesser extent Randle/Nance make any sense?

- Does shooting mean anything? Like, seriously. Is anyone watching the NBA Finals right now?

Russell: 35% 3PT
Clarkson: 33% 3PT
Deng: 31% 3PT
Ingram: 30% 3PT
Nance: 28% 3PT
Randle: 27% 3PT

You add Jackson to that line-up. Is that group ever, EVER going to hit 15-25 3PT shots in a game?

DON'T OVERTHINK THIS MAGIC & PELINKA, GOD DAMNIT!!!!

But the Warriors are also about multiple ball handlers/playmakers and the ability to have players switch 2-4 on defense.
If they think that versatility is more special and that offense can be developed, Jackson could be the pick. Would also add much needed athleticism to the team.

Then again you would think he would still workout for the Celtics in the hopes of being the number 1 pick. I can understand not working out for any teams below the number 2 pick if a promise was received by the Lakers but not when it comes to working out for a higher spot.

It's gotta be that his people are convinced that Fultz is going 1 so better to focus his time elsewhere

I don't think this Jackson business has anything to do with the Lakers.

If these idiots take Jackson over both Ball and Fultz, they better have literally a dozen other trades lined up and some massive win-now plan that makes everyone weak in the knees...
