He has more upside than DSJ and Monk in your opinion?

Yes, Defense HELP you win games and can NEVER be over looked, but it's offense that really gets the glory in the NBA. HOWEVER, MELO'S NO DEFENSE ASS STILL HAS TO GOOOOOO!!!![]()
Dennis Smith Jr. and Malik Monk over >>> Frank Ntilikina
I know Frank will be a good player, maybe even a freak, but it's not guarantee. What we do know as of right now is that Smith and Monk can put the ball in the hoop better than Frank.
The ability to score, the player who can put the ball in the hoop the best will always be among the elite players in the NBA. These elite players are usually called NBA Superstars.

Carmelo a great scorer but he's washed up. He's not the same player that we got 2011-2013. He never attacks the basket and when he does he misses badly . His time is over . His prime was gone the moment Hibbert blocked him in game 6

but to be honest out of all those guys frank most fits a prototypical warriors player to a T: lengthy and versatile defensive player, unselfish ball mover, catch and shoot player, moves well without the ball, can attack the close out in a variety of ways, high b-ball iq.

Rumors about whether or not Kansas forward Josh Jackson has a promise from the Los Angeles Lakers to select him with the No. 2 pick in the 2017 NBA Draft ran rampant Monday.
First there was a report he "likely" had a promise from Los Angeles, and then a direct refutation of that report.
Clarity on the existence of Jackson's alleged promise doesn't seem likely to come any time soon, but it is worth noting that Jackson reportedly cancelled his workout with the Boston Celtics that was set for Monday, according to Jeff Goodman and Marc J. Spears of ESPN.
While this doesn't necessarily mean that Jackson has a promise from the Lakers, it doesn't exactly quell speculation on that front either. If the Lakers do draft him, he’ll be their second lottery pick out of their last four to cancel a workout in Boston, following in Julius Randle’s footsteps.
It's possible Jackson had a scheduling conflict, or that he had a promise from another team, or even that he just assumed the Celtics will do as expected and draft Markelle Fultz, but there seems to be enough smoke here that it can be safely assumed that something is going on.
Here is an updating list of every player the Lakers have worked out or met with. You are right.
Phil has to think about which players has the best chance to be a future superstar with the 8th pick. This is why I'm choosing Smith and Monk over Frank.
