If JJ can play the 2 then he and Ingram would be an intriguing pair.

Why has Philly not worked anyone out for the 3rd pick? Do they got trade set up or is that how DC rolls? If they got a trade setup, then the question is with who. Could the lakers have an agreed trade of Delo to Philly for #3?

That's one benefit of hiring a former agent, Pelinka lives for this kind of maneuvering.

Maybe Ingram at the 2? Or he's too slow for that? Ingram is the physically weaker of the two, so on this alone, he'd probably be better at the 2, but I dunno how his foot speed will affect him there.
Good assessment:

I don't see either of them being able to play the 2 in the long run. It would be an interesting scenario to keep track of if they pick him.

Ingram can defend the 2 on a single possession basis but not full time. He got noticeably stronger as the season progressed but he still has a long way to go regarding lateral speed. Jackson is more athletic coming into the NBA than Ingram just based on the highlights I watched, and he has quick hands when playing on-ball defense. I think he'd have an easier time playing the 2 than Ingram. With the league running so many picks now they'd basically be interchangeable and switch on defense anyway.

Magic Johnson said the Lakers are trying to schedule another workout for Lonzo Ball.
If Magic can make this happen, Ball will join Josh Jackson as the second player to visit with the Lakers twice. Ball was reportedly a little out of shape during his first visit, so maybe the Lakers want to give him another chance to prove himself. There have been many conflicting reports about what the Lakers will do with the second overall pick, but Ball is still considered the favorite to land in Los Angeles over the likes of Jackson and De'Aaron Fox.

Right on Lonzo!!!

I'd be shocked if the Lakers don't take Lonzo. I'd be more shocked if the Celtics took him first. But no way Magic passes on the dude if hes there. I mean Magic was a big pg who affected the game in many ways. I'm sure he sees some of that in Lonzo. I know I do.

Ingram will be a PF as soon as he adds some bulk and Jackson is a SF.

Jackson's first workout was in Sacramento and the Lakers were more or less casual observers there. Bringing him to LA for a personal workout was his first exclusively for the team.

Jackson should be able to defend the 2. And there's enough ball-handling in a Russell/Jackson/Ingram backcourt.
