If Fultz doesn't have a motor and his defense remains as is then it is going to be difficult to win with him. DSJ has at least shown a willingness to defend in spurts. Fultz is all potential on defense.

He's a release valve, at this point. Him creating for himself by putting the ball on the floor is not something he's capable of doing right now.

Re: 2016-2017 College Basketball / '17 NBA Draft Thread IV
Ok no joke I typed this before the last two posts existed and when I was done that came up lol. I still would be happy with Monk
ok so I'm leaning back towards the "Draft Isaac at 3" camp and just going for a shooter with one of our other picks
We have to either consolidate picks to move up or trade 2nds for future 2nds (or other packages). I really hope we don't blow them on useless foreign players again like Arturas Gudaitis or w/e.
If we only leave this draft with Isaac, Damyean Dotson, and a bunch of future picks, I'd be cool with that.
I still like Monk for fit, but idk if it's worth passing on Isaac for.
I think Tatum is a better ball handler than Isaac, but we don't really need that from our wing players atm.
Dotson can take Stauskas' role IMO. Can't be any worse on defense and made a lot of 3s at Houston. I feel like Dotson could wind up like Danny Green in that he will get drafted in the 2nd round and years later people will look at his play in college and measurements and wonder how he ever made it out of the first round.
If he didn't get in trouble for the alleged rape incident at Oregon, he would probably have declared for the NBA last year.
And there was never even charges filed against him or Artis or the third guy who I forget. It was all accusations and hearsay but they were still kicked off the team. Artis also got caught selling sneakers or something lol.
Isaac at 3
Dotson at 50
Trade the rest, and I'm good
Which is ironic since I've been pro-monk all year and that is like the anti-monk draft of one guy with extreme length and height for his potential position and another SG who is around 6'6

Clear the court and let Malik put on a dunk show. Give everyone some entertainment, at least.

Sounds pretty streaky. I guess not much has changed.

It's not an important workout until Justin Anderson joins the onlookers.
