I would trade any of our pieces to get Klay next to Kemba. But GSW wouldn't/shouldn't dare to break this unit up.

Klay is talking like he wants to stay and be 4th option and win rings. Hard to blame him. He's got it made. Lives in an awesome town, will make a ton of money, will win a bunch of rings, doesnt have the pressure of being "the man", will get wide open 3s.

Hypothetically, how high could we climb in this draft if we shipped #11 + MKG + 41?

Could it get us into the top 5 and a shot at Tatum/Isaac?

I can see Minnesota at 7...MAYBE Orlando at 6. Phoenix at 4 I have ZERO idea (and feel it's a trade partner that could have enough Trade pieces built in to it to work) but I'm sure PHX would want to offload a contract onto us in the process and ask for more in return.

I don't think any team in the top 5 deals for that, although O dearly wish they would. MKG is a failure for his pick value. Some team might like him as a complementary off the bench defender, but none of these teams. Batum instead of hyphen might get us closer, but still doubtful. Lakers looking to deal...but not with us.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

MKG and pick 11 to Minnesota for pick 7 or to Orlando for pick 6

Nic to the Knicks for C. Lee and pick 8

Lamb or Belinelli for the best pick possible

Frees up enough to finally sign Gordon Hayward and put him in a Hornets uniform

Starters
Kemba, Lee, Hayward, Marvin, Cody

Bench
Frank, Lamb/Belinelli, MLE signing, pick 6 or 7, pick 8, pick from Lamb/Belinelli, Plumlee, pick 41

Honestly, I don't see Hayward agreeing to sign in Charlotte again, especially with that roster. He'll either go to Boston or stay in Utah. Miami is a dark horse, but I honestly don't see a world where he agrees to sign with us.

Batum is an interesting option, especially if Hayward or a comparable FA is available for us to spend that extra $$ on, as mentioned. Moving up to take a player like Isaac, Markannen, Fox, etc. and adding Hayward at the cost of 11, 41 & Batum would be awesome.

Phoenix is willing to give Knight away for an expiring at this point.

Should we have any interest in a Bellineli and Sessions trade for Knight? I struggle to think of any PGs under contract that we could trade for that would come as cheaply.

If that's the case, I personally would. Our cap space has been managed in a way that absorbing his contract is what it is. I think Knight is an upgrade at backup PG, could run some off guard, and is an upgrade over Belinelli and Sessions. I'd at least see if PHX would include this year's second with it.

Lamb = 2nd round?
Marco = 2nd round?
Marvin = 20?

At this point Haywood is a pipe dream.

Ahh if only MKG and Lamb could get us 15 and 26 from Portland.

I doubt it would be enough, and I wouldn't offer more because there's a 90% chance he walks next summer, but I'd definitely tell Indiana that Marvin and 11 are on the table for Paul George.

He'd leave next summer, but one season of being a contender would be worth it.

If you feature him into All-NBA he would be super max eligible too I think. Could mean being able to keep him. I would offer a lot to get him because for me only Kemba would be untouchable for him.

Heck yeah, I would assume we all would. I'd give up a future 1st if he made it seem at all like he'd be open to sticking around.

Definately worth it. I would also trade MKG if they prefer him to Marvin.

Imagine a lineup of:

Kemba
Batum
MKG
George
Zeller

Talk about Hornets fan euphoria, I wouldn't give a damn that it could only last one season.

If the rumors are true with what they are looking for would you do this trade.

Williams, Sessions, Lamb, 11, future protected first

For

PG13, Jefferson

Take a bad contract off their hands and land PG13. Give them some solid starters now and a couple picks plus some young guys and an expiring.

Kemba, Batum, MKG, George, Zeller
FA, Marco, Graham, Frank, Jefferson/Plumlee

Imagine if you could flip Plumlee and Marco for Crabbe and a late pick. You go all in on next season and try to compete. Use our second and the late first to fill out a bench and we could be interesting in the east.

I'd offer a 2019 1st with only top 3 protection. No on taking Big Al back though, I'd insist on Monta instead.

Kemba/Monta
Batum/Bellineli
MKG/Free Agent
George/Kaminsky
Zeller/Plumlee
