there's only one ball tho..

Lavine off the bench

Isaac would be great there, but if they like Smith, then Rubio and Dunn shouldn't be preventing them from taking him

“We keep insisting upon the type of players we want,’’ Jackson said at his season-ending press conference. “Behind the scenes, and the group that we have — Steve Mills, Jamie Matthews [basketball operations director], Kristian Petesic [director of scouting] and the people in our scouting — I think we know what we want, and we are interested in developing and turning away from just, say: This guy can jump out of the gym, this guy can do a triple-double game or dunk the ball. That is not what we are interested in. We are interested in skill players that know how to play together in team form.”

Jackson, however, added the lottery selection could “take three or four years … to develop.’’

we all know that Phil likes big guards and Frank is 6'5 with a 7'1 wingspan...plus he plays the 1 or as an off-ball SG for SIG so he's versatile, then on top of that he projects to be a pretty good defender as well

All this Frank talk is just a smoke screen. We are doing this to see if other teams bite and take him before us, causing DSJ, Monk or Fox to slip to No 8.

What do you guys think of Wesley Iwundu from Kansas St? He is a long player who is a good passer, defender, and solid rebounder for the SF position. He could improve as a shooter, but is a good slasher on the offensive end and solid in transition.

I think he would be a solid option if we were able to acquire a pick in the 20's. We would have some long defenders who are all pretty dang young if we went with Frank in the 1st and picked Iwundu.

Frank, Iwundu, Holiday (if we bring him back), and KP would be a long, young core of players who all can play defense

I like him but it would depend on who's still left when we're picking. I really like J.Bell who's also projected to go end of the 1st like Iwundu so i'd Bell over him but i do like Iwundu.

I just got a ESPN alert saying we are considering Luke Kennard at #8. I would ignore it but this is literally the only alert ive ever gotten about who the knicks are targeting at 8. :nonono:

All that losing for this? Plz no. There better be a trade down.

I hope we take Kennard just because now.

Then I wanna hear this fan base call him the next Klay Thompson.

Looking forward to non-stop ball movement and unselfish team play this season!

First step is to get rid of Melo and NOT re-signing Rose.

Why are you getting alerted by ESPN? Unless you work for them it's useless.

Overthinking...it's Frank or Monk at #8.

DSJr and Monk are pretty polarizing, if you ask people if you take them over Frank.

But would we all agree that the other top 5 prospects would be preferred over Frank?

I really like Kennard, he'd be perfect for us, but not at 8. I really hope we can get another 1st rounder.

Monte Morris is another guy I really like with one of our second round picks.

No. Why would I be. Dunn is a defensive guard who struggles to get guys involved consistently right now. DSJ is an offensive guard who gets guys going. Dunn would allow DSJBto not have to worry about coverage on the other end of the floor all the time.
