I don't see why more people aren't salivating at the thought of DSJ being "the guy" at the guard spot on this team. I don't see how he won't be a beast in the NBA

What about Fox?

Amazing how quickly some have turned on Saric. Improved throughout the year, gritty, high basketball IQ. Definitely could be a rotation player on a championship team. If someone gives us a top 5 pick for him, then I get it, but he's somehow clumped in the Okafor discussions as a throwaway.

They were very well thought out trades to move back to get a second pick. Probably, the Knicks trade seems possible. However, why would you want to trade Saric for peanuts, than look for a stretch 4. Saric is a stretch 4. He might not be perfect, but he gets the job done.
Saric isn't a stretch 4. He isn't a good shooter and he isn't a rim protector. He's a bench player who can give you some good minutes in a limited role before the other team decides to exploit him.
Saric is an excellent 6th man, who could be a distributor on the 2nd unit, especially when Ben Simmons is off the floor. His team defense is good, and he doesn't really need to be a rim protector, especially when paired with Embiid. On top of that, his shooting improved throughout the season, up until the plantar facilitis.

With Smith I see more complex moves and scoring skills in his arsenal than Fox, along with a killer mentality

Saric played well last year. The advance stats weren't kind to him for the entirety of the year and since this is real gm where most people don't even really watch games just look up RPM values than yeah he's not gonna be rated too highly by some.

Smith reminds me of Kemba Walker and Fox looks like John Wall. Both are great prospects, Smith gives you shooting and playmaking. I'm not sure about his defense. Fox gives you great defense and playmaking. Wish we had 3 top picks.

I would be really happy if we wound up with Lonzo Ball at 3.
The ball movement on the fast break between him and Simmons would be insane, and if his 3pter is legit than he is clearly the best fit for us.

Smith is WAY stronger than Kemba and uses his body at an elite level when finishing at the hoop. Not to mention that Smith is also a superior athlete

Saric doesn't shoot as well as Kevin Love, but he is probably as strong and he may be a better passer. Unfortunately, they both struggle at defense. He may not be a starter, but he could be good of the bench.
Yeah. That's what I said. He's a bench player. And if I could get someone who can start in exchange for him, I'd do it.

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

I will echo my sentiment from before. If the Sixers come out if the draft with any of the following, I have to say I'll be happy because the future is bright:
Fultz
Ball
Jackson
Tatum
Fox
Monk
Isaac
A vet they trade for

One of the more disgusting workouts that I have ever seen. He needed a pick to create space for spot up threes while being defended by an agent.

Take it with a grain of salt, this person is not connected to BC, just interesting conversation fodder. I would beyond depressed if we passed on Jackson or Ball for Tatum, or walked away from this draft with Monk as the marquee.
You say he works for the Sixers but not connected to BC? Is he a scout for the Sixers? Does he do anything draft related where he gives input on who he likes? Who does he want?

I don't think anyone is really turning on him. Just because someone may want to trade him it doesn't mean they are turning on him. It just means they think they can get good value for him. Me? I will forever love Saric for being a man of his word and coming over but I'm open to trading him. I like Saric but I think his defensive limitations will hurt him. I think he can be part of a championship level core as a 6th or 7th man. It's best to trade him now like we did MCW than to wait on him and lose value. I'm not comparing him to MCW either. I think he will be much better than him but Saric's trade value is probably at it's peak right now. If we make a move it would probably be best to do it on draft night this year. If we hold on to Saric it's not the worst thing in the world because he is a useful player and can help us win. If I were in charge I would make offers and tell teams I'm willing to deal Saric for the right price. You can't let your feelings affect how you build a team. Saric is easy to root for but I have to put my feelings aside. BC should try to trade him and a 2nd and get to 7 or 9.

KD&LBJ really stood out in the finals.
There's also, on the one hand, GS doing everything they could to get Steph away from and Klay onto Kyrie Irving--suggesting that you want a good defender guarding point guards, not just a little guy.
On the other hand, Kyrie showed that with his incredibly ballhandling skill that he could score on even the best--which in my mind supports Dennis Smith Jr.
Good points. The finals helped Isaacs value for his perimeter defense. Isaac and Simmons fit well on defense. Isaac on the perimeter and rim protection, and Simmons getting rebounds. Also, Isaac has a smooth shot and can create a little. Furthermore, I like Jackson a lot, but he reminds me of a more active Aaron Gordon, not bad as a prospect. Whereas, Isaac could be a 20 pt shooter with all the other elite defensive skills. Tough choice!
I think the finals accentuated Josh Jackson's skills because having Jackson and Covington chase players around the perimeter is necessary to contend in this league.
Jackson will be a major pain in the butt to every good shooting wing in the league.
