That's a pretty damn sweet deal in a draft where there doesn't appear to be a bonafide franchise player.

EDIT: I quoted the wrong post, lol. Sorry for the notification.
Supposedly Chicago could be pulled into this, they've liked Okafor and a lot of picks are exchanging hands.

Just like that Philly has completed the process.
Legit, 3 potential superstars on one team.
Embiid
Simmons/Saric
Fultz
good god that looks scary in 3 years.

I pray that team stays healthy.
I think this could be great for both sides. The Celtics have a glut of good to great guys at the 1/2 that are all 6'4" or under. Fultz is awesome (and I'd keep the pick to take him), but theoretically if they fall to 3 and take Tatum, they could be better long term. Tatum projects as a potentially incredible stretch 4 for today's NBA and Al can obviously play the 5. Or they can push Crowder to the bench and keep him at the 3 while developing Brown. They could also gamble with Jackson and hope he's better than Crowder. Then they get a high pick next year.
Sixers get that elusive guard they've been waiting for and Fultz/Covington/Simmons/Saric/Embiid is scary good assuming all are healthy 2 years from now.
Again, if it was me I'd keep the pick. But if you can get 3 firsts for it and really believe in IT as the future, why not trade it and still get a likely long term starter?

Zagoria said something about the Bulls getting involved as well.
If Okafor's being mentioned, you better hope those picks are worth our while, though. I'm not quite sure where we fit in to the scheme of things, though.

Isiah wasnt the problem. Their interior defense/rebounding is non existent

I have a feeling that the tentative agreement is #1 for #3 and 18 Lakers or 19 Sac pick. And I believe that when the deal is about to be finalized, Ainge will say that he wants both 18 Lakers and 19 Sac pick or no deal. And the Sixers are going to cave in (which would be stupid) or there will be no deal.

That seems like too much. If so, helluva deal for Boston.

So BC doing the opposite of what Hinkie did, by putting all their eggs in a basket for a player who hasn't played a game of professional basketball.
AKME got to go

I get that you have a ton of guards, but I'm not sure that gearing up for Butler is the answer. If they were gearing up for Anthony Davis or DeMarcus Cousins, I could see it. Is the difference between Butler and Bradley really worth Fultz?
Playing Butler and Bradley in the backcourt is a winning duo. Thomas is too much of a liability on defense.
