This is what I think. After all of that Fultz Ball and Jackson talk of those guys being the top guys, after the test drive (workouts), teams realize they aren't any better than Fox, Tatum, and Isaac; now these teams are trying to fleece the other teams who haven't worked these guys out yet.

Also with DSJ and Monk being ballers as well....just relax and let's see who falls to us.

Yeah, I prefer Isaac over Ball, for example, and that's why I was against tanking that hard last season. Booker and Warren went out for a couple of games and Bledsoe out 15 consecutive games, that were too many IMO. But I was fine with Chandler and Knight out for a lot of period of time, we needed to watch Len/Williams and Ulis.

I don't know if this tweet has been commented, but it seems that the price for that #1 pick is gonna be really high. Probably #3, 2018 LA pick and another future unprotected pick. We will see.

From Kevin Zimmerman

Florida State’s Jonathan Isaac could be a darkhorse option, and by ESPN Analytics’ Draft Model, he’s actually the best-rated player in the class. ESPN’s Paul Sabin created a list of draft steals based on where they ranked in the draft model compared to where draft expert Chad Ford has them on his big board. The 6-foot-11, 210-pound forward’s skillset, not to mention the fit, has Sabin considering him a potential steal for the Suns.

Isaac has the third-best adjusted defensive rebounding percentage in this draft class and a 55 percent adjusted effective field goal percentage, which is as good as any other small forward in this draft class. His college stats are most similar to those of Otto Porter, who was selected No. 3 by the Washington Wizards in 2013 and was a key piece for a team that finished a win away from the Eastern Conference finals this season.

It is unlikely that Isaac is going to work his way into the top three, but at No. 4, the Phoenix Suns could get a top-quality player should Isaac be available when they’re on the clock.

Isaac is certainly the upward momentum guy in this draft. Its no secret I've been very high on him since the lotto but honestly I didn't actually think the suns would take him at 4. I figured hed fall to 6 or 7 and be a steal for the magic or wolves. But now I'm starting to get think theres like a 50/50 chance the suns grab him at 4.

It wouldn't shock me if boston took isaac 3rd. They don't have a player like him and i could see the appeal of adding a guy with his profile to that core especially considering they will have to deal with dudes like giannis for the next decade.

I wonder if Saric is going to be involved. A Brooklyn type fleece is more than a couple of picks.
Maybe they want the swap, LA and Sacs picks and maybe either Saric or their own pick.

Ainge being Ainge. The F-er was spoiled dealing with the Nets.... now he wants the moon in every deal.

End result I see them with Butler and making a hard play for Hayward as plan A and Griffin as plan B. With their supporting cast i.e. Horford, Smart, Crowder, etc... along with IT... they vault themselves into the 'look out' category. Serious upgrade.

Philly wants Fultz.... is that a given? Magic claiming he wants him too but also liked Jackson and may be Ball...... Ainge wanting Butler... so who does Chi take at #3??? Ball? Fox? Isaac?

And our boy McDo ??? who the F knows?

If anyone on this board correctly guesses the top 5 picks, then they are certainly the Supreme Swami for the Day.

that's the problem with the NEts trade - it sets an unreasonable bar for Ainge - if that is indeed the case. Colangelos are a bit smarter so hopefully they don't overpay.

If the Sixers are going for Josh Jackson and the Lakers love Fultz - does that open the door for the Suns to get Ball at 4?

Who is three -Celtics -unless they use the three and the Bulls pick Ball.

I wouldn't mind McD using a future pick to trade up - for the right player. As ONE player in the NBA can make your team . But just wish it were the lesser of Miami or Phoenix pick or some protection. Top 8 or something like that

Ball drops to #4, I say its 50/50 we pick him.... for someone else.

keep in mind, Chicago should have the 3rd pick with 1yr left of Rondo anchoring their back court. No surprise if they select the BigBawler

They want Jackson. Ohhh...at the end of the day is gonna be Fultz, Ball and Jackson.

I want Jackson so bad....well, I will move on. Isaac or Tatum are good prospects too.

and just say no to using those Miami picks to slide up a spot or two.... that is the type desperation move that Ainge looks for.

Real bummer. I really wanted Jakson. I don't see next year's Miami pick amounting to much. I'd prefer to get Jackson.

So Boston looking at maybe adding Butler and Hayward.

Plus they have Brown, Crowder, and Bradley

How many wings can they play at once? Are they going to run 3 small forwards in their starting lineup? Would make for interesting basketball:

IT/Smart
Butler/Bradley
Hawyard/Brown
Crowder
Horford/Olynk

The worst part if Philly moves to #1, they'll probably use that Lakers unprotected pick to do so...the pick we traded them for Brandon **** Knight...ughhhhhh

that Knight deal is one of the worst trades in recent history

ugh

With two picks in next year's 4/5 loaded draft and all this Celtics/76ers drama, Tatum is looking real good to me.

Since it sound like Jackson is not going to be on the board for us...i change my my mind for the last time and say we go with Tatum. i think isaac's best position is PF and if we had had not just drafted two rookie pf i would consider him more. I also think Isaac's mindset is weak and he has no imagination offensively. Also, something that kinda intrigues me is if we do the James Harden thing with Booker and make him the ball handler and draft Monk to play off ball with him, but MCD or anyone else would have to have some major balls to take that risk.
