If the guy who called the trade(this years 3rd, the best of Philly and LA next and a 2021 Philly 1st), you have 3 tries to get the 1 and 2 next year in a more top loaded draft. Might work out in the end

3 first in addition to pick 3 makes it an easier swallow but if pick 3 is included than no.

You guys realize if Ainge wanted Fultz he woulda drafted him at #1. But he didn't. If we didn't have any takers he prolly woulda taken Jackson at #1 anyway.

Sixers fan in peace here...I think the main takeaway from this is that Ainge has decided to win-now rather than compete in 2-4 years. Like others have said, if he was really targeting Jackson, then he would have waited until draft night for this move to make sure JJ was there.

On the plus for you guys, at least it's settled which direction the team is headed. You guys will probably acquire 2 of Butler/Hayward/George/Griffin before the season starts (all players who are just entering their prime). Time will tell how the trade turns out for both teams.

What's the point in a team trading Jimmy Butler or Paul George wanting the number 3 and picks ? I'd rather have Fultz and maybe the clippers pick over Jackson and future lakers pick if I were the Bulls or Pacers.

Ok, next move is to find out if SAC really wants Fox at 3. Trade for 5/10, take whoever of Jackson/Tatum is left, nab a nice prospect at 10.

Ainge must be banking on that core not staying healthy if the 3rd pick in the deal is a 2021 1st rounder. Maybe it's unprotected? Both additional picks better be unprotected.
