If that is true then this is fine. That would mean that we keep the Lakers pick next year if it is anything other than 2-5.

We could get the 6th pick or the 1st.

Even if the Kings pick is unprotected I'm still onboard with this. This means that we still have a good chance of having top picks in either year.
