1. #3 gets traded for a vet
2. Draft Jayson Tatum
3. #3 gets traded to move back again (SAC was reportedly willing to move up)
4. Draft Josh Jackson

I was under the impression management wasn't interested in trading the pick for vets and a short term window

I was okay with this trade but if two of the reasons are that we are overflowing at guard and Fultz didn't win games in college, that makes me mad. Those are poor reasons.

I'm alright with it if you think others are better players, but if you think they are better because they decided to play with a better college team...then..well..that's a bit silly.

Anyway, I think there is honestly a shot we get all of Butler, Hayward, and Griffin so whatever. Let's go.

One win for the "he's not a winner" crowd is that, if you look at Philly, both Simmons and Fultz had the same problem in college. Neither of them are "winners." So people that care a lot about college records and the fact that these guys didn't get to the tournament can be confident that Philly will fill up the stat sheet but probably fall flat on their face at actually winning at anything for the next half a decade at least.

If you have a winning culture you can teach that to a 19 year old. This is a bull take by the Celtics. So we get Josh Jackson who has won soooo much in college. It's not like these guys are seniors. Jackson might very well become a decent player but he's a ham and egger offensively. Dude blows when it comes to offense. Except shockingly from 3 point land. What a joke.

Ainge better come away with Blake or Hayward plus another upper tier player.

Don't even get me started on the guard take. Bradley should be gone so should Smart. Franchise player Rozier is borderline. Quantity over quality. Celtics made a **** deal on the surface.

For everyone losing about this trade think about it this way. This is the best trade Ainge has got for Fultz that is what he and the pick are worth. The Warriors are not offering Steph for this guy, John Wall and Kyrie are not on the table so evaluate the situation as it is.

So don't make the trade, draft the consensus best player and have him play for your team?

Gets better and better. Danny really has lost it. This is what happens when you have no idea what you are doing because you are in uncharted waters. That pick doesn't mean as much because you didn't earn it. Your team didn't suck and can't afford to not pic, the consensus number one.

Again has nothing to do with the current situation. See that video of the race at the Braves game last week? Fan was all celebrating and thinking he had won, and the Iceman (who he was running against and had been given a head start against) comes flying by at the last second and he gets shocked and fell down. Danny was all happy and then realized was out of his league.
