We get #3 and we get either the Lakers pick if it is anywhere from 2-5 next year. If the Lakers pick is 1st or 6-30, we get the Kings pick in 2019 (seemingly unprotected, though that's not completely confirmed yet from what I've seen).robbie84 wrote:so what picks do we get? If the LAL pick falls between 2-5 next year the Cs get it. If not, they get SAC '19 unprotected.

Him and Simmons have the most potential now of any lottery team going.

Thomas/Smart
Hayward/Bradley
George/Brown
Horford/Tatum
Zizic
BKN 18
LASAC 18/19
I'm gonna have some fun dreams tonight
That's all that is, a dream. That team won't beat Cleveland and Butler and IT will be past 30 and on his back 9 by the time it is. If by chance it can, it is getting smoked by GS.
So yeah go dream...

I feel like the odds of sac sucking in 19 are better than Lakers sucking in 18
That said danny needed to get both these picks for trading down

It is very fitting to use a Conor McGregor quote connected to this move because the results of this trade feel much like the results of his fight with Mayeeather....Embarassing
Conor is getting paid like 40 times what he can make for a UFC fight, and will never have to fight again.
Floyd is 40 years old and will fight a super conservative defensive fight and probably just outpoint him with jabs, like he's done with the rest of the slobs he's beaten recently. And if Conor does *anything* in that fight, or even just goes the distance or wins a round or two, he is a legend forever.
Anyhow, moving on.
Mayweather is gonna drop him like a bag of donuts.
Your thinking that fight has any chance not ending in a knockout is helping me realize why you like this trade, though.

That team is not possible under the cap. Say good bye to at least Tatum and Bradley in that scenario where PG and Hayward come to Boston.

Danny needed both with no protections. That's the price for number 1 if you want it that badly. And apparently they did. Ainge should have pushed away and let them crawl back later in the week.

Well apparently he couldn't so it's a likely star in the hand versus two in the bush. Lots of us are willing to pick the two -- me, because I think we can get a player close to Fultz this year at 3 and I'm tempted by the bigs in next year's draft and think LAL will still suck.
