Sounds like we had intended to bring in Isaiah Briscoe for a 2nd workout but he hurt his ankle and had to cancel.

Haven't looked too hard into the options but I've pretty much sold myself on BAM the past few days. Giles is too worrying injury-wise, same for OG Anunoby who I liked too.

Plus with anyone else we don't get to yell BAM anytime they do anything good

I don't think Giles is worth the injury risk but I would much rather have him than other bigs like Allen, Patton, Adebayo, probably Ike as well. I'll be disappointed if we pass on OG for Giles

He could be Beas-esque in our offense

If trading Brogdon could get us Ntilikina I'd definately do that. Superb talent imo. I'm looking at Charlotte/Detroit/Nuggets/Miami.

Eh I wouldn't. I like Nti a lot but he's not a scorer, or shooter so not really the best fit with Giannis as far as space. Defensively he has the tools but he's not very good atm. I think that we are fine with Brogdon but we desperately need a combo guard off the bench that can shoot 3s off the dribble

Yeah, Ntilikina is a poor shooter, ball handler, and passer. I don't see any reason to believe he is as good as Brogdon. Some of the same weaknesses as Brogdon, but with worse handles, passing, and a worse shot.

Yeah, a lot of the bigs are fairly meh. Not bad, but also not great. I don't think OG falls to us, but I'd love him.

Giles seems like the favorite for the pick. Schwartz client, sucked in college, high reputation. Classic Bucks pick.

He's going to be a very good, possibly elite shooter at 6'5 from the PG position.

Second bolded part is also not true. He's a difference maker on the defensive end for his team in the Pro A right now.

Which of those is he good at? I'm no expert on him, but his shooting numbers certainly don't inspire confidence in him becoming a good shooter anytime soon. And he doesn't appear to have smooth handles and has struggled vs. ball pressure according to DX. Not a guy creating a lot of offense at the levels of ball he is at right now, so hard to judge too heavy, but doesn't seem to have a lot of shake.

I guess the passing is the point you have an issue with. IDK, doesn't seem like an especially creative offensive player to me.

That said, his height/length may mean he doesn't need to be extraordinarily skilled to be effective.

Giles + Dorsey is a perfect draft for me. Now I have my hopes too high.

His % are fine but he has rubio/rondo level volume. He's a pass first pg with good vision, but if he's going to shoot ball less than Brogdon I'm not sure that he's going to draw much defensive attention. Defensively he struggles to stay in front of guys on TS perimeter.
