If that deal wasn't negotiated with that exact scenario in mind by Danny, then that's another in the fireable offense category.
 
Man, you need to chill. 
The fact that the pick is not conveyed if it's lower than 5 is a clear sign that possibility of Lakers improving was considered. PG coming out with this statement today, even thought 3 days ago he was on the record saying that he'll play out his contract with the Pacers, is not something you can predict. Hence, my original post.
