If Boston can't move the #1 pick, they are probably taking Josh Jackson.

If Boston takes Josh Jackson then Fultz and Ball will be there at 3. Either is a great for the Sixers. The Lakers and Sacramento picks are likely to be very high picks. I just don't see the value in trading away those picks to move up two spots to pick a guy who might be there anyway. And I don't see Fultz as being that much better than Ball.

Wonder how close this will be to correct if the deal Woj just reported gets done?

Pretty close. Keeping Holmes. Maybe sending Laker pick instead of Kings pick.

Ok new Fantasy- package Sauce and Okafor with 2 Second rounders for a future 1st (top 10 protected) from a team who might be falling over the next few years, but could use a youth movement this off-season.

Then, package the remaining 2nd rounders with future 2nd rounders to move into the mid 1st with a team who wants to shed salary.

Pick another complementary piece for the roster and get another future 1st.

Get on it BC.

Now I just want Jordan Bell. A trade of 2nd + 2nd will land us him. I really like him

it really looks like the 76ers dodged a bullet with this news about George coming out....The value of that Lakers pick plummets a bit if they can make the move for George this offseason.

Not really, because if they land George then we end up with a mid first round pick from the lakers and have to give up the sac first

I'm just saying no matter what one of the picks was going to need to be given up just seems that the Lakers pick loses some of the prestige because of this potentially....But who knows maybe the pacers just have him play until he walks.

LAC: Jamal Crawford, 2022 1st (top-3 protected, unprotected 2023)
Sixers: top-55 protected 2nd

Yup, let's restock that war chest with some good ole cap dumps.

Sixers ought to be looking at moving back up to grab Zach Collins. Perfect fit as he can both play with and back up Embiid. He also covers them with another high end C prospect in case Embiid goes down for good.

I'd suggest Bayless, Okafor, and 50 for Noah and 8... but last time I brought up eating Noah for picks the pitchfork crew came out full force with their torches lit

So I will just say they need to get up somewhere between 7-12 to grab Collins.

Trading for Paul George would be stupid. Would create such an unnecessary distraction to what were a positively trying to build here around Fultz-Simmons-Embiid.

We gotta exercise some chill, here.

Trading for Paul George, Kevin Love, etc would all be poor moves and makes no contextual sense for our basketball team.

We've already built it. Now it is time to bring in the max talent. Why would we wait for these rookie deals to get expensive? Four years match up perfectly for Simmons, Fultz, and Saric. If we wait 3-4 years and chill we have to sign these guys and there goes our cap space.

I think there needs to be an aggressive offer to get Powell out of Toronto. Fultz/Powell/Covington/Simmons/embiid would be scary. That team would lock u down, and run you out of the gym.

D'angelo Russell is avail . All Lakers want is a late lottery caliber talent. Offer Okafor, Stauskus and 2 2nds for Russell . He has ties with Simmons and Embiid and he could be a ideal 2 guard for us.

How about Okafor for DWade? If Wade opts in; he'll be on a 1 year, 24 mil contract....I think this team could use a winner like Wade...great mentor for the young guys...and he can still play

Angelo still does and always will suck. SAC is a plausible landing spot for his skill set.
“This may be one of the best jobs in basketball right now,” Colangelo said at a press conference introducing him as the new GM of the 76ers after Sam Hinkie resigned.
