Dennis Smith- 10 I think that we are his best potential landing spot, and I think Kemba is his best potential mentor.
Malik Monk- 4 Not convinced that he is anything at all more than just an elite shooter
Frank Ntilikina- 8 See Smith and add Nick to Kemba
Zach Collins- 7- Not sold on him in either direction, but extremely intrigued
Lauri Markkanen- 9 I see a floor of Brook Lopez with a ceiling of poor man's KD.
Luke Kennard- 6 I think he will be a good player, but not lottery pick good.
Donovan Mitchell- 6 see Kennard
Jarrett Allen- 5
Harry Giles- 3 I don't see a player with multiple knee surgeries surviving the nba grind for long.
Justin Jackson-7 see Collins
OG Anunoby- 6 I keep seeing Paul Milsap, but then I glimse Al-Farouq Aminu.

Dennis Smith - 10 (Dude is so explosive, and he's coming off of an ACL, he's going to be even better)
Malik Monk - 9 (superstar potential, I think he showed about 1/10th of what he could do at UK)
Frank Ntilikina 7 (unknown, but our team may be one of the best fits for him with Bats)
Zach Collins - 2 (do not want, not with our roster makeup)
Lauri Markkanen - 6 (Eh, I feel like he could be good, just have reservations with our roster)
Luke Kennard - 1 (No. Ammo part 2)
Donovan Mitchell- 5 (I think he's the most likely pick, it's a safe pick. He fills a need. He's like Courtney Lee, without the three)
Jarrett Allen - 1 (No, unless it's a trade down)
Harry Giles - 4 (Might be ok, but I would be mad if they take him at 11. He's good though, will just take a while)
Justin Jackson - 1 (Just no)
OG Anunoby - 4 (Won't be the pick. Might not play this year. Cho needs someone who plays this year for his job sake)
Who I woulda took:
2023: Miller | 2022: Duren | 2021: Bouknight, Jones | 2020: Ball | 2019: PJ | 2018: MPJ | 2017: Monk | 2016: Damian Jones | 2015: Winslow | 2014: Vonleh, Napier | 2013: McLemore | 2012: MKG | 2011: Knight, Kawhi

So you think Monk has the playmaking skills to be a primary ball handler?

Dennis Smith - 9 This is the best place for him he can come in right now and play the Lin role
Malik Monk - 6 He is a one way player but think the hornets can use a spark plug like him
Frank Ntilikina - 7 I like the idea of having a big point back up Kemba and he can guard both positions
Zach Collins - 6 He is a few years away from being decent but he is a better mix of Zeller and Frank
Lauri Markkanen - 5 The NBA is all in on stretch 4s but I dont know him you can play someone major mins when he is D is so bad
Luke Kennard - 1 I think he is a bust, a slow unathletic shooter we have seen this before and it doesnt go well
Donovan Mitchell - 8 I feel the same way about him as I do DSJ but i dont know if he will ever be a point
Jarrett Allen - 5 We have a team that can hide this kids flaws all he would need to do with us is dunk and rebound
Harry Giles - 1 this kid is one cut away from shattering in to 1000 pieces and even if he is healthy he is not what he once was.
Justin Jackson - 1 I like this kid but I just dont think we have a team that can afford another safe lazy pick like JJ
OG Anunoby - 6 He can come in an play major mins from day one his shot and defense make him a good fit for any team but that knee has me very very worried

I think he MAY have it, but I think he's got way more potential to be a star than anyone else on the list, save for DSJ. He is a crazy scorer, and I think he was never asked to be the ball dominant guard at UK with Fox there.

I'm willing to take the chance that he can learn it, over taking someone like Mitchell who doesn't have that star potential.
