Cap room can always be created, especially when you have assets which the Lakers do. They could easily dump Deng/Mozgov by including some of their young talent and/or picks to a rebuilding team with cap space like Brooklyn.

Clarkson is on an actual good contract that can be moved too.

They need to dump one of those three to get George. Finding other teams to gift them the room for LeBron and George isnt going to be easy.
It is when you have a #2 overall pick 3 years running. Do you really think a team like Nets wouldn't take on a bad contract or 2 to get one of their legit young talents plus maybe a future pick?

Keep in mind GS didn't have cap room for Durant until they moved Bogut. SA didn't have room for Aldridge until they flipped Diaw. HOU included a future 1st to dump Lin. We got Isaiah by taking on Marcus Thornton's bad contract for a future 1st and Zeller. Lakers contracts are bad enough that they'll be including more than those teams, but trust me, they can create the room for LeBron and George if they want. They have the assets to make it happen and then some.

Something you can be sure they'd do if a guy like LeBron wanted to go there.

So I wouldn't say "always", ESP. as salaries catch up with new cap. But Brooklyn might trade Lopez for Mozgov/Ingram. For example.

Fun thing about helping George to Cleveland for Love is that they might both leave for LA...

It's a no brained for PG. leverage is down but not so much that a team like Minny can't offer a better deal than us. Dunn and #7 this year would be an easy situation to jump start a playoff starved team. Have Rubio, Wiggins at 2, PG13, KAT and Dieng. Then go small and sub Dieng out for Levine. We aren't the only team in on PG so you can't expect to get him for nothing. Crowder is a good role player. 2018 Boston is not much value to us and lakers pick is a freebie considering Ainge didn't want Fultz anyways. So if we said we're giving up our 1, Crowder, 2018 Boston, Rozier to move back to get #3 and PG13 that isn't a good trade?

Yeah, always was an exaggeration but It comes down to the assets you have. If you have assets, you can move bad contracts. Lakers certainly have the assets to move on from their bad contracts.

Celtics spare parts to Indy, George to Cleveland. Danny picks up a boatload of future Cavs picks next decade when LeBron is long gone.

No he said he's not coming back to indy and his current preference is the Lakers. He has been very clear his first priority is winning. He flat out said he would stay with indy if they fielded a winner

Next summer Lakers will have 39 million in cap room, 63 million in committee salary - plus hold for Randle, who they may want to keep. But Deng will be on books for 18 million - tough to dump. They can move Clarkson easy. Mozgov will be tough, too. Those were baddish signings. I think I defended them at the time, mostly bc I didn't think they could get PG *and* Lebron.

"If you look at their roster, everybody knows what to expect out of everybody," George said after falling to Boston, 109-100. "There's never a moment where a guy is like, 'What kind of shot are you taking?' or 'what are you doing?' They are beyond that."

Be a part of it!

Someone hand me my meds. I'm too hyped lol.

At this point I'm just waiting to see a tweet saying "Boston has emerged as a strong front runner for Paul George".

$10000000000000 he goes to a random team like Denver.

Like I said, no Cavs and no Raptors. As long as he goes to neither of those places, that's cool with me.
