While I agree anything is possible, I'd be stunned if whoever is picked at 3 is better than Fultz.

Bold statement.

Boston needs whatever assets they can get. They're trying to package picks for a superstar. It's painfully obvious.

That makes no sense. Boston has more assets than they can possibly use. They traded away a likely all-star to maybe get another all-star or he could have just traded the number 1 pick.

Makes perfect sense. They did a deal because Fultz doesn't fit their team and Jackson does. There's no guarantee they get 2 trades done over the course of 72 hours, especially if one trade is for a Top 10 player. It's a backup plan, but it's obvious he's acquiring assets for a big move. Anybody that has followed the NBA for years can see that. It's how you get superstars.

While i'm pretty much 80% in on Lonzo Ball, 20% of me is still very interested in a swap with SAC for 5/10 if we can dump one of the Deng/Moz contracts
2014: Randle / Clarkson
2015: Russell / Nance
2016: Ingram / Zubac
2017: Top 3 Pick? Fultz, Ball or Bust

If you had the option to swap with the Kings who would you want?

I would want Zach Collins and Johnathon Isaac.

If Lonzo Ball has potential to be a future all-star trading out of the 2 spot just to get some cap space would be horrible.

I like Zach Collins but would love to see Isaac fall to 10 at that point. For me, I'd use the picks as follows

#5
1. De'Aaron Fox
2. Josh Jackson
3. Jayson Tatum

#10
1. Jonathan Isaac
2. Donovan Mitchell
3. Zach Collins
4. Luke Kennard
5. Malik Monk

I'd love to end up with Fox and Isaac or Mitchell.

My sig says it all but I still am intrigued by the possibilities opened by the trade i mentioned. I also like trading no pieces, drafting Ball and then figuring out the salary issues next summer if and/or when they present themselves, safest option lol

Let's agree to disagree on whether Fultz would fit in the Celtics. If you're going to hypothetically trade for Butler the Bulls would much rather have a number 1 pick (aka Allstar) than a 3rd pick and another pick that could literally fall anywhere in the lottery. I don't even think Jackson fits on the Celtics, how many poor shooting defensive minded players do they need? Also how does he fit on the team that's targeting Hayward in free agency?

It's hard to believe one workout would turn off the Celtics on keeping Fultz, but then again there is his entire season at Washington and his inflated stats from playing against Tier B teams.

Might be a combination of a bunch of different factors.

Thursday can't come soon enough. Draft Ball and go from there. If we are able to get George for Clarkson/28/maybe Nance then you do it. Let's get this show on the road. Gonna be fun to use the Lakers on 2k :)

Obviously...they just trying to put a positive spin on a horrific trade that they were forced to accept from the Sixers.

At this point, let's just draft Lonzo and move forward. I'll be happy with Lonzo. Ingram/Russell/Ball is a solid young core.
