Not just poor fits, but I honestly don't see any of those guys being major NBA contributors for a good 2-3 years. IMO, the 2019 is the draft with Zion Williamson and Marvin Bagley and the draft in which a top 2 pick will be highly coveted.

If you held a draft today for the 2018 class Bamba, Ayton and Porter would probably go exactly within the 2 - 5 range. Its early but the wings look to have good depth next year and that's a final long term piece I'd love to add then.

That's why we're going to draft him with our 1st overall pick.

Jackson is a great prospect, however the Sixers would of had to get a Lowry type PG in free agency to balance the roster. Pay a 31 year old a max salary or get a 19 yr old, Fultz, who may be better and fits perfectly with our young core. This trade works for both teams.

I can almost assure you that Lowry to Sixers is BULLSH*T. Probably his agent's way of pumping his leverage to ask a big pay day with Raps.

Fultz is an intriguing prospect if paired with Ben Simmons and Embiid than paired with Isaiah Thomas and Avery Bradley. And you can say the same thing with Jackson. It's two teams doing whats best for the team.
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

I'll put my homer 2 cents in here, but watch out for Kevin Knox.

I will - I've got a few players who have already have my interest as potential future 6ers players. Troy Brown is one who has me interested to see what he can do next season at Oregon. Its great we have 3 pieces set in terms of watching college ball; I know I won't be watching out that much for guard play next season or the PFs and I'll have little interest in any of the true bigs so wings is what I'll be looking at. Hopefully its a strong class across those wing positions so we are shielded from having a bad draft position.

There are only two players I want out of the 2nd round - Bell and Dorsey.

I know Tyler Dorsey is appealing because he's a skilled shooter and he played well in the combine pick-up games, but I really feel like he should go undrafted. I wouldn't use a pick on him. I think there are far better guards that should be available in the 2nd round.

I still get confused with Simmons in any sort of lineup. that's why I wish he played for at least a month this past season.

probably more confusing for the defenses that have to play against us.

Imagine simmons at the top of the key and cov, fultz, biid, and tlc all spread out. Simmons to the basket at will.

I see him going somewhere in the 20s.

I'm not his biggest fan. He's a quality offensive player, but his physical tools are poor and he's going to be a bad defender. I'd probably only be interested if he dropped to the middle of the 2nd round (unlikely).

not into him. soft. and its not that he's skinny. some skinny dudes run to contact instead of away from it. porzingis, ingram, etc. like stauskas, i dont think he gets enough out of his skills because he doesnt want to get knocked down, or kneed in the thigh, or whatever. going back to one my favorites, tj leaf may not have the same array of skills as jackson, but he has such a healthy disrespect for his opponents.

justin jackson is on my do not draft list. john collins, justin patton, ike anigbogu, tyler lydon. not feeling them. i think teams have needs at those positions, these guys match a length/height stat profile, so folks see them as fits and want them to be good. but i dont even see an nba rotation player out of the five i just listed. [i've watched patton the least, so maybe i should lump him in.]

i am also not as high on mitchell and anunoby as others, although i think they are worth late first round picks.

Any thoughts on the target for the 2nd potential 1st rounder? I think Jordan Bell or White. Most def one of the guys we worked out publicly.

I think one of Jordan Bell, Derrick White or Josh Hart should be a Sixer after trading back into the 1st round on draft night.

I like the idea of drafting a 4 who brings something Saric doesn't. Bell tops the list, should be a defensive demon. Lessort looks intriguing, raw but really physical. Bolden is an athlete.

I'd take Deonte Burton so quick in the second round. That agility with length and bulk is hard to come by. Off the bench defender of 2-4 depending on the matchup. Can become a decent offensive player too. I'd definitely take the chance on him despite age.

Trade into the 1st to get Bell or take Bolden in the 2nd.

Its up to BC now, make sure Markelle Fultz is 100% 'OK' after recent injury, re-evaluate his current weaknesses etc. We got the #1 pick so be certain.

Iverson2Simmons. Its 1996 all over again! :D

I'd be all for it. Probably would mean you'd have to trade or let Covington go though, for salary/fit reasons.

This is it.

I said it a couple pages ago or so but take Bell #36 and one of White or Hart at #39.

Then if we want to ensure having enough shooters take one of Bacon, Thornwell at #46.

Fultz/Hart
TLC/Korkmaz/Thornwell or Bacon
Simmons/RoCo (never mind if Otto Porter was in fact signed)
Bell/Saric
Biid/Holmes

That's some ridiculous roster balance and haven't even spent a dime yet in FA or used Okafor + any future picks to add another big piece. The new Beast of the East begins it's journey this year!
