Use 10 to deal for George.

I'm for including Rozier in a trade for 5 and 10, and taking a pg at 10. I'm not for trading it for PG, as we need to wait until after we use our max free agency signing to do a trade. That way we can match salaries 150%, instead of 1 for 1 to maintain cap space. Easier to match PG when you don't have to come up with 18m in salaries.

Yeah, let's make Sacremento better by letting them add Bradley and Jackson.

If the Lakers will end up getting PG13 somehow, then that should make them at least respectable. Therefore, we will likely miss out on LAL's 18 pick and Sacremento should end up better than expected since we helped them fast track their rebuild.

Danny could already end up with egg on his face for trading down, surely he's not going to do something like this to potentially hurt himself even more.

1. Trade 3 for 5 & 10.
2. Trade 5 for 8 & 13 & 25.
3. Trade 10 for 15 & 22 & 35.
4. Trade 8 for 14 & 39 & 46.
5. Trade 13 for 20 & 30 & 40.

End up with 14, 15, 20, 22, 25, 30, 35, 37, 39, 40, 46, 53, 56. Field an all-rookie team!

If the Kings really do covet D'Aaron Fox and they have intel that Phoenix will pick him at the 4, then the field would be set for the Celtics to swap the 3rd for the 5th & 9th pick. If the Celtics are torn between Tatum and Jackson, they will definitely be able to land one of the two with the 5th pick assuming Phoenix no longer has the ability to select Fox. It would be assumed that Phoenix would then select either Tatum or Jackson. So this 3 for 5/9 swap looks really good. Plus another guy the Celtics love could fall to 9.

Agree Phoenix is big. They will draft along the same lines as Boston.

SAC at 5 we can assume they will make the wrong pick.

Sound like a great plan, however, Sac knows we are not drafting Fox. Our target is Jackson Tatum and Isaac. Sorry, but I think Sac sits back and calls either of our bluffs.

You don't need Fox and we don't. Sac is sitting pretty.

It doesn't matter that they know we dont want Fox. It's about if they have valid concerns about Phoenix wanting Fox at 4. that's what matters. If they have real worries about Phoenix truly wanting Fox, then they would need to leap frog Phoenix naturally. They have Boston select Fox for them and Boston lives with Phoenix selected Jackon or Tatum and they'll take the other of the two at 5 plus they get the 10. Maybe Boston has Jackson and Tatum ranked neck and neck and they feel both will be future allstars. It's anyones guess.

And this is where the Celtics come in! They can provide the Pacers with draft picks and young players and Ange has always coveted Love so the timing of the Philly trade may have been accelerated since it seems the Pacers want to do a George deal quickly...

I have a few questions about Love and how he will fit on the Celtics but the thought of George going to the Lakers this season and destroying the Celtics chances at a high LA Pick are worse. So, it's time to:

I just don't see it. Love only has an additional year contact over George and George is the better player. Go big or go home. No way we help the cavs improve

Take tatum at 5 and one of the 7ft shooters at 10, or that PG.

I'm guessing if a trade with Sacramento happens involving the 3, 5, 10 picks it would be something like the following:

Smart and #3 to the Kings and #5, #10 and a player (Labissiere? Stein? Papagiannis?) to Boston. Ainge would probably draft Tatum and DSJ. In that case there is no need for Smart with IT and DSJ handling the point.

The other problem is DSJ probably won't be there at 10.

I don't think it will happen.

No expert. It's close. $7,633,920 (3+Rozier) vs. $7,666,440 (5+10).

Bradley, Smart and #3 or Crowder, Smart and #3 for Love plus lesser assets. Sign Hayward. Keep brown and 2018 Brook and LA pick.

If we get PG, he'll stay.

Well, someone other than the Celtics will be part of the Indy - Cavs deal then, and Cleveland will improve any ways - a little Love is better than no Love at all! Or maybe this is all a smokescreen by the Pacers to raise the price on a PG to Boston deal?

I was one of the bigger Love fans around here a couple years back, but he doesn't make sense on this team with Horford. We would get ripped a part defensively by GSW, and by getting Love and pushing George to Cleveland, we will also get absolutely shredded by Cleveland with their small ball lineup of Kyrie, Smith, Lebron, George, and Thompson. Facilitating George to Cleveland doesn't make sense, and imo, we also need to make sure he doesn't get traded to the Lakers because I personally prefer that 2018 LAL pick over the 2019 Sac pick.

If the Lakers feel compelled to throw together a package for George because we are facilitating George to Cleveland by taking Love, we are really screwing ourselves.
