I'm a pretty vocal critic of Cyborg, but why even move up to a 145 division if you don't have any interest in a fight with her. You'd have to know if you do well, it's probably going to come to that.

Obviously this is a relative term when talking about professional fighters... but this is cowardice. Threatening to vacate to avoid specific opponents...idk what else you'd call it tbh.

Just came to post this, UFC informs GDR that she will be stripped after repeatedly refusing to fight the number one contender, Cyborg.

I actually think this is a message sent by the UFC to its champions: once you get the belt you will defend it and fight who we tell you to fight, or we strip you.

They stripped Conor and now GDR. GDR was their most expendable champ by far so they were probably happy to do it tbh.

Megan Anderson falls out vs Cyborg for undisclosed reasons. LOL, these chicks don't want anything to do with Cyborg. I said at the time she said she wanted it that she didn't really want it. The best case scenario for her was when everyone thought she wanted it bad but the ufc wasn't going to give it to her.

Tonya Evinger to step in. Cyborg back to fighting 135ers for a "145 belt".

She should have just declined in the first place, would be understandable, IMO (hopefully it's not drugs). On the brightside, Evinger is the best Cyborg has fought in a while.

1) It would be the biggest upset ever

2) It would be hilarious to see GDR/Anderson/Zingano/Holm, etc. all line up and talk about how badly they want the title shot at Evinger.
