By all means, start a thread on a massive miss this pick was by Ainge. I'm down to throw a fit in that one too.

Young was like the 17th pick. What are the historical expectations for guys in that slot? He missed on the pick for sure but it's hardly a crisis. I'm sure you don't want to hear it but Ainge pretty consistently drafts guys who outperform the expected production for their draft slot.

The consensus pick on draft night was Rodney Hood, who turned out to be a fine player. Danny opted for the younger, shiner toy.

He chose the wrong guy. No doubt.

Don't sell yourself short bro..you can bag a HELL of a lot betteer than Rihanna making 60k a year. Take a trip down to Colombia or Argentina and you'll drown in hotter females. I kid you not. I won't even mention Brazil because that's fishing with dynamite..lol

Or save the extra cash and just go to Miami. That's fishing with dynamite. It's an international convention down there!

Bingo...although the language barrier in a foreign country would make it easier to pretend they aren't really hookers.

Boston sends:
- #3 pick
- Sixers' rights to the Lakers' 2018 pick if between #2-#5; otherwise, Sixers' rights to the Kings' 2019 pick
- Avery Bradley
- Jae Crowder
- Tyler Zeller
- Either Terry Rozier or Jaylen Brown

New York sends:
- Kristaps Porzingis
- Carmelo Anthony
- Two among either Marshall Plumlee, Chasson Randle, and Maurice N'Dour

Props for coming up with an offer to a board not known for kindness to strangers.

Right now, we're focused on one max FA signing (Hayward or Griffin) and one big trade. The trade target is expected to be George or Butler, but I would much prefer Porzingas. Think he's a perfect 5 in the Modern NBA. I'd be good with the 3 and a couple of our non premium firsts for him. What do you think you'd need if there is no Melo in the deal.

Is that even possible to back out now?

Then he should tweak it and add in Avery to get both picks and remove protecttions

I don't want danny to back out because that'll stick with him forever.

What I'm looking for is to see deets to see if anything pops up that hasn't been reported or has since been been discussed with the Sixers.

Orrrr may be Sixers back out. Lots of possibilities could happen if it's not done yet. Either way I need to see the deets

From a pure talent perspective, Ball is clearly the best choice at this point. He's head and shoulders better than Jackson/Tatum to me. Fit wise I understand the issue, but he's the #2 talent in the draft.

After that, I'd probably go Jackson, because at least he is elite at one thing already - defense. Tatum is good at a bunch of things, but not elite. Honestly he could just as easily wind up as the next Tobias Harris or Marcus Morris - a good SF who doesn't hurt you out there a starter, but isn't a true difference-maker.

Jackson, at least, I know his elite defense/athleticism gives him a chance to get to a top-3 guy for a contender if his shot irons out.

This is fantastic :)

This guy will try to replicate what Olynyk and to some extent Jerebko gave us, shooting big who can hopefully defend a little bit. I'm assuming he's taking BAE, considering that he'll reportedly sign until 2019.

KO and other spare parts to Utah.

Blake and Hayward to Boston.

Boston keeps all it's top five selections and gets 2 all stars. Plus the east gets wide open after LeBron goes to LA next summer.

Very good outcome.
