Re: All things Draft Pick. #3
Would be more cool with it if Sacramento pick wasn't #1 protected

Re: All things Draft Pick. #3
#1 protection for both years? That makes zero **** sense. We gave up the 1st **** pick without even getting a crack at one on the future picks? What?

Their core is not decent. Those 5 and 10 picks may get decent by 2019, but not good. Especially as they're likely to grab 19 year olds. We will probably win this trade on value, though it may still be a good trade for you guys.

Re: All things Draft Pick. #3
Good risk by Ainge. We got a shot at another 2-5 next year if lakers suck, which they will. Then, we got a shot at everything but no. 1 in 2019. So if lakers are above 5, and then philly is playoff and sac town is awful, then we didn't get a good deal.
Worth the risk imo if you aren't a Fultz believer.

If it is not, the Celtics will instead receive either Sacramento’s or Philadelphia’s first round pick in 2019, whichever is more favorable. However, if either of those 2019 picks result in the first overall selection, Boston will instead receive the other first round pick."
Terrible.
If PG gets traded to LA and Sac wins the lotto in 2019 then you've basically swapped #1 for #3 for the kicks. Unreal how it's Philly who should have been the aggressor for the trade and yet have protections all over the place and will still have pieces coming in to add to their set core.
Ainge got bent over for the first time. By BC of all people.
Shocking.
What are the chances if the lakers getting no. 1 in 2018 and the kings or sixers then getting. No. 1 in 19?
That ain't happening. Freakin relax.
