I want Fox more than Jackson. I want to be entertained as well. Fox is as talented as anyone in the draft and is million times more entertaining to watch than Jackson for me. Sac would be extremely entertaining to watch next season with Fox.

Ball is pretty entertaining player as well. Would love him on Sac as well.

On my big board Tatum is the most wanted at #5. I rate him a bit higher then Fox and Jackson (they are pretty similar to me - both with potentially elite D while some concerns with their shooting). But I love Fox's desire to play for us.
If Fulz, Lonzo and Jackson are top 3, Suns select Isaac and we get Tatum at 5, is it possible to move up from 10 to 6/7 to get Fox either? May be get some assets from Portland and use them, or deal with TWolws (adding Koufas, Richardson, #34)?
What do you guys think?

I highly doubt the number 5 team in a 5-6 top prospect draft is making promises of any kind unless they are promising someone that will get Vlade absolutely blasted Papagiannis style by the media. I would hope that Jackson/Fox are at the top of their big board though.

Justin Jackson is a very good prospect too. I'd like to see us acquire him. He can definitely spread the floor and that shoot looks golden for every time.

If you sleep on Beno, he can drop 30/10 on you.

I'm really thinking of a 3 for 5/10 based on Jackson going to LA. If he's at 3, and the guy you want, the pick has more value -

Rozier, Crowder, 3 for 5, 10, BOS/SAC swap rights in 2018?

BOS/SAC swap rights in 2018?

:o :o :o

The 2018 pick is the most valuable asset the Kings have right now, more so than the 5 pick we have now. We expect to be bad next season, that could be a top 3 pick and our only chance at drafting a superstar type player. I know everyone thinks they can fleece us because of the Stauskas trade, but cmon man.

That's probably the more logical pick from the fit point of view.

I really like Mitchell at #10, but specially if we draft a PG at #5 it's really difficult to see how we could manage 5 young guards (Hield, #5, #10, Malachi and Bogdanovic) + Temple even playing some of them out of position at SF or PG.

If I had to bet right now, I would say that the picks will be Fox and Justin Jackson (I know some of you don't like him much).

Saw a report Suns would like to trade up for Ball. I 100% believe this because I remember before the lottery drawing when PHX was projected #2 Suns GM was said to be in love with Ball.

Yeah man 2018 swap has to be off the table...especially with Vlade getting owned on a swap in this draft. IMO swaps two years in a row from two different trades would be the end of his tenure as Kings GM.

I don't think we are interested in Crowder also.

I figured a rebuilding team would love Jae. Trade up for Lonzo at 3, run Ball, Hield, Crowder, Skal, Papa G/WCS, or try to pull a trade with Koufos+, maybe for Lopez. That team has an identity and it has upside. Keep the 18 pick, make it a 2020 swap.

Or take a wing at 5, trade Afflalo for Rubio, draft a project big at 10 bc you can never have too many of those.

Kings strategy right now is to add as much talent as possible. Crowder, Lopez, Rubio do not match it.

So much in these tweets. Kings have secret workouts. Ford being right. Kings must like John Collins. Wow.Image

Wouldn't Bulls take Jackson?

Seems like a risky move for Chicago unless they know Butler has one foot out the door.

I think Jackson could slip to the Kings at 5 if Boston Really likes Tatum and Phoenix really likes Issac but you never know with either. I think Minny or NY would trade down to 10 for a reasonable price so you guys can still get Fox at 7 or 8.
Fox
Hield
Jackson
Skal
WCS
Is a nice starting lineup that'll struggle offensively but be good defensively for the first few years.

Return to Sacramento Kings
