Just posted in trade thread but also relevant to draft, thoughts?
http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=ya76qq7d

Phx out: Bledsoe
Phx in: Kyrie Irving

Pacers out: George
Pacers in: Tristan Thompson + Miami pick + CLE 1st

Cavs in: George, Bledsoe
Cavs out: Kyrie Irving

Who says no? I know a lot of people don't like Kyrie, just nuts the kid is only 25 with so much experience. His contract is not bad for his production and he is locked in through 2019.

Mini Bron Bron aligns with Bron in CLE and helps save Cavs $4-5MM/yr vs Irving. Bledsoe-Smith-James-George-Love

Pacers get a nice young player in Thompson and two first round picks, not bad for having zero leverage

Suns roll out Kyrie-Booker-Josh Jackson/Tatum-Chriss-Bender/Len(?)/Tyson? Guard defense will absolutely blow but would be an exciting young(er) team

That's exactly where I'm at, personally. JJ > Isaac > Tatum. Not sure where Ball falls on that, probably before Tatum? Maybe after? But definitely after Isaac. I think..right? Ugh all this has my head spinning.

That's where I am and Ball before Tatum.

I just don't know what to think of Ball. Part of me HATES the family circus and I also question parts of his actual game. But another part of me thinks you need elite players to contend and IF all breaks right the best case Lonzo Ball is a pretty tantalizing prospect. If he falls to 4 he might have too much upside to pass up. I personally wouldn't trade up to grab him though.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

Tatum will be selected by either Boston or Chicago if the trade happens with Butler

So Boston and Chicago both want Tatum? That means Jackson will be there at 4 no matter what?

It's looking that way unless a trades happens

That's exactly why I think (hope?) we will pass on him even if he is available at #4. It has taken us years to get rid of all the knuckleheads, build chemistry, team spirit and a generally positive atmosphere.
The FO has put so much emphasis on character the last few years that'd it'd be really strange to bring exactly that kind of player back in.

Do you think Phoenix takes Jackson if he's there or are they hell bent on Isaac?

Right but we all know the Suns SHOULD take him. I took ray ray's comment as just his opinion as opposed to insider info.

The question is, would Jackson's character be enough to turn the front office away from him?
The reason I say no is, MCD is on the last year of his contract. he needs a splash and Jackson can help the team immediately. He's also seen by some as the best player in the draft.

It's funny because all this stress and anxiety of not getting a top 3 pick and if we still wound up with Jackson, it would make everything better.
Jackson is who I've wanted from the beginning (even over Fultz due to positional need).

So assuming Cs grab Jackson, would Suns really select Isaac over Tatum? Or maybe a darkhorse for Fox?

Yes, Issac over Tatum.

I have read the Magic really like Isaac and wondering what it would take for them to move from 6 to 4 - if Isaac is there with Jackson. But the problem, the Kings probably take Jackson at 5 so that would leave the Suns out of the running for JJ, Tatum (if he goes 3) and Isaac. Can't have that

Quite a bold move. He must have crushed those workouts to warrant him being picked over Tatum. I'm not up-to-date on Suns media/reports but have you seen anything from the FO that points you will actually pick Isaac over Tatum or just fan speculation?

Hammond is targeting Isaac too but now Ford says Orlando has "serious interest" in Tatum. I think we will just pick the one that remains as either one we can use. Or maybe Cs pick Tatum at 3, PHX Isaac at 4 and Jackson slips to Orlando? *see username*

Kings are in love with Fox. They were rumoured to trade both 5/10 to the 3rd just to select Fox. Valde is all in on him. Fox wont get past the 5th pick.

Unless the Kings are really turned off by Kansas picks - I am not sure Jackson makes it to 6. Isaac or Tatum might

I dont believe that Fox is on our lists. As far as Isaac vs. Tatum, it comes down the fact that is that can Isaac step in and play small forward. So far my read is that I dont think he is going to be able to but i havent seen his workouts. With McD job on the line I think the suns need to have an impact in the draft. I really believe that Jackson is the player that we really want more then any other.
Just say no to idiots!!
