Btw, Bryan did mention unless I misheard, he said when they make their selection Thursday night, he may not be the best shooter, but he trusts their developmental staff so they'll make him the best shooter. Is he not impressed with Fultz's jumper or something? It's pretty damn good.

However, the draft "experts" on the pods and web are unanimous as far as I have seen. MKG vs AD is not what we have this year.

Ha, right. Like Ainge is some great evaluator of college talent. He's been close to awful drafting. He traded for KG and Ray Allen and fleeced Billy King in a trade. Great moves, no doubt, but pump the brakes on his talent evaluation.

"Jackson gaining momentum to go #1" rumor came out just before the, "Philly/Boston discussing #1 pick trade" rumor came out.

Obviously, Boston was leaning Fultz talked to Philly and leaked the Jackson rumor to save face with the fan base.

From GB. I feel like this is 100% the case.

Fultz can't shoot from deep at all.

Just like Russell last year. Lots of swivels and dips and improper alignment. Legs out of sync with arms many times. People in 2015 saying DAR is an elite shooter just like this year with Fultz.

I love Embiid and Saric and hope they get a title soon but this is a major setback.

What do people expect ainge to say? Yeah our guy at number 3 isnt the best player in the draft? Its like the teams picking 15-30 and say this was our guy all along. See the nfl draft if u need more confirmation on gms telling lies.

College three and nba three are different worlds.

Hornets fan here I think this was a great trade. It would've been better if both picks were top 2 instead of 1 though. Still Zion is protected in 2019. Will be rooting for you guys. I want us to miss the playoffs again so we can finally blow this mediocre team up.

Well for what it's worth, after the Celtics won the lottery a poll on their board had about 90% of them saying pick Fultz.

Come on. Everyone knew fultz and IT are similar type players and there's no room on the floor for both of them. Ainge has other needs besides a ball dominant PG. Knew they'd be going for a Jackson type. So it was either trade #1 pick or trade IT. The kid will be a scorer in the league.

What games did you watch??? Kid can shoot. Only kid with better form in top 10 was Monk. Who, oh by the way, apparently bricked a lot of his workout shots.

Lonzo struggled in his Lakers workout per reports. Jackson shot poorly at his second workout with Lakers.

Fultz will be fine. He has a great foundation of skills and natural talent to build upon. He was 18 going against older players and he looked very good. Sub him in for Fox at UK and suddenly he has a 30 win team and no one questions him. Put Fox in UW and they don't win 9 games even.

Lastly, there are exactly 2 guys that fill our need in 2018 draft. I don't want to gamble on being able to get one when I can get Fultz now.
