SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

My only problem with Jackson Chriss and Bender frontcourt is we'd be the worst rebounding team in the league. Chriss is the best rebounder of those 3 and he's not even close to being a good rebounder. Isaac is at least a good rebounder and could project as a 10rpg kind of guy. None of those 3 are going to average more than 7 per game. So who is going to rebound the ball? Booker isn't a good rebounder either so we can't really expect to have a rebound by committee strategy.

Isaac will never average 10 rpg. Book it.

He averaged 10.7 per 36. He may not average 10 a game but he'll come a hell of a lot closer than Jackson or Tatum. He'll probably be a better rebounder than Amare.

Kyrie Irving played what, 3 games for Duke?

Also, I'm cool with people not wanting another potential project like Isaac, but let's not pretend that how Archie Goodwin turned out means anything. If you were so worried about not projects you'd have the same complaint about drafting Chriss and Bender last year... also, Archie was rated so poorly coming into a weak draft for a reason, and Isaac isn't talked about as a top pick for nothing either.

For me i am seeing a lot of the same things that Chriss does in Isaac but I really the best comparison for him right now is Boris Diaw without the passing and ball handling.

I don't like comparing these guys to all stars or guys who have been in the league for 10+ years. I think a pretty good comp is WCS who can shoot. Of course coming out he is a lot younger. WCS went later in the draft and played for 3 years in college.

I just don't believe this. Unless its because they haven't had time

Why wouldn't they make the call? Maybe the team is stupid enough to take the 32nd pick to move up one spot

sometimes Gambo tweets stuff that may not be wrong but just doesn't seem right

are you really telling me Ryan has not talked to Ainge since the news broke that the number 1 pick was being traded - I find that hard to believe

Which is kind of silly because you know what all of Isaac, Jackson, and Tatum are really good prospects who have some flaws but so do 99% of players who enter the draft.

Jury is still out on Parker and Ingram. Parker is a good offensive player but still a poor defender. Ingram was pretty underwhelming last year.

Wasn't Kyrie a Duke guy?? how bout him delivering on expectations?

Totally forgot about Kyrie, my bad. However I also think he's a little overrated. Never been a fan of volume scorers from the PG position. He's very fortunate to play with Lebron who can take care of the playmaking.

If Isaac is the pick - I will take John Salley. Play defense, rebound, develop a mid range game, run the floor, defend and rebound

I will be so, so not happy if the Suns pass on Jackson if he's there. So, so not happy.

"The Kings are “starved” for Kansas forward Josh Jackson, according to The Vertical’s Chris Mannix. The vibe I get from chatting with league sources is there’s a distinct possibility that the Kings would look to move up ahead of Phoenix (no. 4) for Jackson, possibly using the no. 5 and no. 10 picks, but they’d need more back than just the no. 3 pick. If I were the Kings, I’d want Crowder, who is locked into a cheap deal through 2020, or Smart, who the Kings were targeting in the 2014 draft. It’s doubtful the Celtics would be willing to cough up either player, but they need to trim salary to have maximum cap space. The Kings have good reason to ask for a nice player in return."

Thats different from what we have heard. I wonder how much time he has spent with the kings while he has been working out in SacTown?

Maybe its because we have 3 guys that we view as similar BPA (Jackson/Issac/Tatum) and are fine with any of them and arnt planning on wasting another asset just to move up a spot.

I was just being stupid with my Archie comment and having fun. I do enjoy the debates and different views on the board. It is fascinating to me how so many of us who know and love the team would construct it in so many different ways.

At the end of the day I will support the squad on the court and whichever player they select. I just hope McD was smart enough not to promise anyone. I'm not as high on Jackson or Issac as a lot of people here, but I would select Jackson ahead of Issac and it would be disappointing if McD promised Issac when it appears it is possible Jackson may be there at #4.

Gambo thinks the pick will be between Tatum and Fox as he has it Fultz, Ball and Jackson 1-3

Gambo thinks if Ball is there at 4, no discussion - as Ball will be the pick at 4

Gambo also thinks there is a dream scenario where the Suns can trade back into the top 6 and get both Fox and Isaac

The problem is last year they had the 13 & 28 plus Bogdan to trade up and only had to move from 13 to 8. This year, they only have the 32 to trade up with or future picks and players. This one doesn't seem real to me

Our board is just like the suns board room.

Gambo says everyone in the phx suns organization is torn between prospects.

He also says we might make a play for paul milsap ! Gross
