If the bulls give Jimmy to Cleveland I'm done with them.

Reason why this report made me sorta laugh.

PHX, nor Chicago would want Love.

This is more likely getting leverage over Indiana to trade PG13 to Cavs, or making Boston throw in the king ransom trade that Ainge doesn't seem willing to do.

LOL, I agree this helping out divisional/conference rivals is quite disgusting. I have never been a fan of the Bulls using the Knicks to dump our players especially when we never get any quality assets from them as Isaiah Thomas (Piston) sent all of their future picks away a long time ago.

Cavs get: Butler and Wade
Bulls get: #5, #10, Afflalo (cut right away) and Rudy Gay (expiring), 2021 Cavs 1st and 2023 Cavs 1st unprotected, JR Smith, Channing Frye (expiring)
Kings gets: Kevin Love

Kings get a stretch 4 to pair with WCS and Skal. Love under contract 3 more years.

Bulls get 2 expirings in Channing and Gay, can cut Afflalo and save money. JR Smith is the only long term deal. Bulls get 2 cavs 1sts unprotected for that. Plus 5 and 10 for this years draft.

Kyrie gets his Butler, and Lebron gets his Wade

No way Kyrie is on the table. Dude steady drops 40 point games in the finals. Love is the only person who is expendable on that time of any value

But he's not good defensively, if you look at his off/def per 100 possessions in the playoffs he was +1 where as LeBron was +17, Love was +13 and Thompson was +20

I dont disagree - but this dude snapped in the finals for 2 years in a row. I dont think that can be an oversight. He hit a game winner on the road in game 7 of the finals. I dont think Butler in his place makes that team better tbh

Right... but with better defense maybe Cleveland is better, like a lot better? Butler could help wear down someone like Durant and also draw some fouls. Cleveland found out they can't just outscore GS, time to try something else.

Cleveland can wait for Wade to be bought out. At some point Chicago's going to cut Wade loose to save money.

Well damn, that would be perfect for the Cavs and Bulls. Their are some quality guards and big men in this draft that a lot of analysts are not talking about. Definitely something to think on if we are facing a rebuild with a Butler trade.

You're in Fantasyland with the players you think the Bulls should get back for Jimmy.

Sick of our own fans devaluing Butler, willing to accept trash or just one lousy pick from Boston while they get to hoard all their good picks in 18 and 19, F that. Laughing as they turned the pick we should be getting, the #1, into a nice pick next year while we get the scraps. Butler is a top 15 player, the best available talent this offseason on a great deal for two years.

Cavs want Butler, I better hear Irving coming our way or no thanks.
Who needs to see when the Bulls aren't on?

I have to imagine every team is doing their dillegence. This is a non-story, along with all the others.

1. Rudy Gay is a Free Agent, and does not have a contract to be traded.
2. Kings get absolutely killed in this trade. Giving up the 5th and 10th for Kevin Love? He might not be worth the 5 straight up. Nor does he fit on their timeline.
3. Afflalo in this deal doesn't make any sense for the Kings and the Bulls. Just adds more moving parts for no reason.

How is that a bad move? Garpax save money in the end by cutting afflalo. They get more cap in 2018. JR Smith is the only long term contract in the deal. Bulls would have like 45-50 mil in salary heading into 2018 free agency. So near enough for 2 max guys. Bulls get 5 and 10 plus 2 future unprotected picks in which we dont know how good or bad the cavs would be at that point. Plus Bulls would suck this year and get a top 5 pick of their own. So in 2018 would have something possible like:

Fox
Valentine
OG
PF
2018 draft pick (bamba)

and then a ton of cap to build around those young guys

I would love to see Jimmy on the Cavs and win a championship. He'd have a better chance in Cleveland than in Boston. However, they just don't have the ability to give us the return necessary in a trade. Brining Phoenix into the mix doesn't help alleviate that either.

Yeah because there are so many good players out to get..

Without Jimmy..nobody comes here. You can have all the money in the world. We would just be the Sixers.

Nobody has ever wanted to come here except over the hill players, the only path to success for this team is through the draft.

FA is just for signing roleplayers
